Will do but the one I’m looking at is 2nd hand so I don’t expect he’ll be able to match it.

Mate are you heading to massachussetts? There’s a KTM brace on Ebay US at a good price and I want it! I’ve asked if he’ll ship o/s but no response yet. If he does I’ll be bidding I think – not just cos I’m a fanboi, they’re the top model carbon brace and retail for $1k over here!

That’s ok thank mate – I didn’t really know i was going to get it either but found a decent deal and just jumped in. I notice there’s one on ebay buy it now for $500+$15 shipping which is a bargain I reckon.

My other half had to do an assessment on a fella the other day and he’d had a good stack and messed up his neck and head and it kind of made the decision for me and loosened the purse strings.

BTW I was a hair’s breadth of moving to stockton this week but it fell through so we’re now moving into a place in merewether and it has a garage!

I was talking to Pete about these on the weekend – definitely seem like a good thing, everytime I stopped and put my goggs on my jaw guard they fogged up for 5minutes!

scott, don’t get too intimidated if you don’t know what someone’s on about just ask.

In case it isn’t clear, if you’re interested just post up and only if you’re serious to buy one right now. I’ve already paypalled them and I’m not in a rush but I’d rather complete the transaction ASAP since they have my $$$$

their site is http://www.motorcyclemax.net/ and you can still get it for $520 yourself but if you get in with me we might make a saving(this is to be confirmed).

Mate I can recommend Kitchener if you’re looking for something fresh and different. Have a look at P-dub’s ride report for info.

Blue I’m considering putting a new piston and rings in mine do you mind telling me the seller?

KTM want $450 for it :( I was actually just reading today that KTM aust are the ones to blame for our redickulous prices. I bought a PDHS and the seller had to buy the risers to complete the kit and they were $90 for the two 9mm spacers!

I’m looking at a leatt brace now and its $500 shipped from the states or $800 locally. No wonder Aussie companies are suffering they’re not competing on the global market available to us!

For $40ea I could buy a spare for the kit and still have change. I also don’t like the idea of it bending into the case – you can probably just tell in that pic that it scratched the case. It could still happen if the steel lever snapped but it’d be more likely to go flying then get jammed in I hope.

Yeah I bought some stuff from ballards last week – and now they have a sale on and the levers I bought are only $20 :( I’ll be taking a closer look to see if I can make the most of the sale and get some more bits.
