My mate did the same to his cam chain tensioner the other week and it just seemed to strip like a millionaire heiress after his first miss. I suggested he take it to a fitter and get them to get it out before he did anymore damage
I changed my oil yesterday and had a “moment” tightening it back up as it seemed to get tight and then too easy and I thought I’d stripped it! I backed it out cleaned the thread and then gently tightened it again without drama but I did notice a few goosebumps and had to wipe the sweaty palms!
I got ambushed and haven’t managed to get my brakes done yet but I figure that’s easier to do during the week.
Aint that a prick of a thing to happen!
Going to try and get a syringe tomorrow and if I can’t I’m going to give this a try…
Oh no, I agree which is why I did put them on to sutto’s. That and they’re supporting the site so I’d rather throw them the money.

I assume he’s talking about these

DNA rims and hubs.
I’ve just recommended these to a mate so I’m keen to hear if they have issues.
I assume you mean http://www.axismotorsport.com but I still can’t see any forum over there?
Stackboy! Did you read my earlier post that has a source for $300 delivered without bargaining or groupbuys?!
Here’s a screen shot of my camera mounted.
Chris you’d be better off mounting it on your front guard I reckon. Bar mount would require some shonky fab and I think they’d be to shaky.
Menace, the difference is in the mounts that they come with. Email him and ask him what he has if you like but I’ve looked at the two (motorsport and helmet) and I don’t think you’d use either of the special mounts for mounting it on your motorbike helmet.
Motorsports comes with a big suction cup mount for cars.
helmet comes with a strap that will go through the vents. Here’s a pic of the mounting for each of these:
Also I don’t know about your head but mine vibrates a lot less than my bike. If you have a look at this video you can see a dodgy shot of my gopro mounted under my visor in the screen shot 7s from the end. I like it there because its not distracting, wont get caught and hits less branches which cause the thuds when your viewing.

I’ll put in an expression of interest for me and a mate Ben who came on the Anzac day OBT ride. End of august should suit us well since he’s getting married 4th of July. I told him his head will explode getting married on independence day but what do you do
menace you can get them off me for $320
or you can get it for $285 + postage from the link I posted
Thanks TB. Did you just drop into the vets and ask for one or what? I might try a chemist, I think if I tell the vet I need something to crack the nipple and push the fluid from the bottom up they’ll probably arrest me
Karma for that tip Ollie!
Was he busted riding in the bush or out on the road? The guys said on the weekend that they’ve been riding there for ~15 years and never been stopped! I have heard of a few people getting pinned at white rock and I still see quads and young punks running around there which worries me.
Daniel (andrew’s brother) had a collision out there with some bloke about 1month ago that sheared his footpeg off! Some how he avoided any serious injury.
Cheers guys. Noone gave me shit I just felt like I was “entertaining” the guys since I asked them up here so I wanted to show them just how good it is compared to appin and menai which is where they ride. I also wanted to convince my brother that trails are so much more fun than MX.
TBH I really enjoyed my first lead because once we got going the exploring was part of the fun and they were a good crew of blokes to ride with. A few of them were good enough to push me and give me some pointers which is what I really like the most.
I think it’ll take a few more runs to get familiar enough to lead you blokes though
I’m heading to lovedale long lunch (all day drink)on saturday then doing bike maintenance on sunday mate.
