That only works if the jerry is empty when you start otherwise you have to guess how much you’re going to put in. I think the tag is a better idea but I’m thinking maybe a tag that I can write on so I can log it otherwise I might top it up and not add oil straight away then see the tag and wonder if ‘4am tony’ did it and didn’t tell ‘post coffee tony’. Too anal?

On Sunday I took the “chicken track” around a nice big muddy puddle and it was slow through the trees and muddy still then I heard ripnshred coming and it was too late – he ripped through the main track and got me though it wasn’t that bad. Good for a laugh though and I admitted I deserved it for running the chicken track :p

Haha that’s cruel! I’ve had it in the back of my mind about doing this but I’ve mixed the oil immediately as I’ve filled the jerry and only fill from that. I think I need to work out a system though….
