Step it up alright. It’s like a bike car park in that vid.
All that’s missing from that DR is a milk crate and a red dog. Here’s the brief rudimentary slack arse ride report:
Great ride with Mal yesterday. Snotty warm up put Grant on the back foot quick
He got into the swing again and we did some nice single.
Today we found some of the big singles looking over the power stations.
Dusty and dry. This morning there was no dew and there is a lot of dry fuel around already.
That single Mal near camp got us to the back of the colery And the end of eagles nest. Interesting. No drops out injuries and plenty of good food and beer. Great weekend.
No photos this time. Have to wait for grant to process the go pro footage.Very cool bike Mal. Looked great in the flesh too. I’m sure you’ll make us all look clumsy as when it’s all set up and you’ve got some hours on it.
Aha! New shiny bike to throw some roost at tomorrow. Excellent!
2pm is good for us. We will get there about lunch, set up camp at BFH, have some lunch and will wait for you to roll up.
Will PM our numbers.Hi lads, me, grant and Shane Watts but sadly Wattsy had to cancel……
Your still injured Rocket aren’t you?
LC this ride is too boring for you, surely.Always welcome Mal. We will get there around lunch I’d say. Not confirmed yet though. What time could you make it? We can wait or come back to the car and meet you easy enough.
Cheers
HB Mal (for whatever day it was)!
Cinditalk, this thread is from Feb. I’d say old girl would have naught a husky and sold it for a Yamaha by now…..
Holy moly! Lucky little man.
HB Al. Enjoy. You’d be 4x not 3x by now surely….
Thanks Nick, good points, especially the insurance problem. I’ll keep on researching.
450exc hey Galey? Joined the noisy 4 stroke brigade.
180C holy smoke.
Copper is the go, surely. Look if the cycling pump fails then yes I’d believe the temp up in the vacuum header sections will get insanely hot but otherwise I’d eat my socks if all the water in the pipes + 400L water tank will get to 180C…
There are pressure reliefs all over the current electric water heater. Another one up on the header tank will deal with the roof unit. Bleed off excess pressure by copper pipe to the ground.
I have 0 experience but after some reading and discussion with a dash of common sense no human or animal should die.Bigger Al I have Poly on the roof for our small kids pool. I throw it up there in the summer months. Works OK for the pool.

I’ve got a 400L electric power sucking machine like the dead one Mick has and was thinking about hooking it up to some solar tubes on the roof (+ thermostats, 10w pump, non return valve etc). Anyone done this before? Might be the go for summer at worst.
