Classic. We should pull this on Bob one day.Niiice.
Same here that confirms why so many 300s are sold second hand with after market rear guards! The photos make more sense now.
New axle collar 5mm shorter to allow for the 5mm guard I’m thinking. Someone can turn it up easy. Otherwise cut 5mm off the end of it to shorten maybe. That’s no good Al. Look after it you old fart.
Sure does look like him.
Nice blue KTM. I had one of those too

Murph if you brake and clutch bleed your cars and bikes yourself – sure get a vacuum bleeder they are brilliant. If it’s just to fix your back brake IMO bring it to a shop.
I don’t have an XR or a Devol disc guard so visualising how it’s mounted is tricky. Perhaps your going to have to fabricate something so maybe a photo of what it looks like mounted can help us with some suggestions?
Some XR owners that see the photo can compare with guards they have and can let you know how it could/should be mounted?Hey Murph, you tried pushing the piston all the the way in and bleeding again? Use your knee pushing against the disk then shove something in there temporarily. Bleed again. Also if you reverse bleed again do it with the pedal at different positions. Sometimes the master won’t let the fluid bleed in a certain position.
HB Justo!
Holy smoke I hope you scored that bike for free Dickie
I know it’s not the same bike but my 300exc runs 14/50 and is a frag too tall for 2nd in the single track. 14/52 would be better and is a popular choice as seen already above.
Not wanting to put a dampener on that nice red pre filter idea, but it’s not going to work out as well as you thought as I look at the photos. To me it looks like a tube that directs air to your nice large surface area filter is going to be blocked real fast by dust. So unless you have a handful of these to keep swapping over on a dusty ride, it will be like blocking it with your hand. Maybe I’m missing something…
I’m not buying that mag just to see Galey. Take a photo and post it up Murph!
If I bought those boots locally I’d expect an exchange set no questions asked.
I scored AStars Tech7 boots so cheap I can buy 3 sets for the price for some of the ones above…. -
