I can see Beemer’s point. It’s not for everyone. More to the point, it doesn’t have something for everyone. But if you like tight single trail then this is the only paid event you would do each year. I’ll go again for sure, more prepared this time.

I’d say pro riders would be happy. If you could ride both loops at race pace twice (~250km) each day then your ready for full time racing.

Great weekend. Nice to see you blokes again, it’s been a while between rides.
Thought this would be a nice casual trail ride to ease back into it. Not so casual at my current fitness level. Lots of tight single track (like 80%), very much in my opinion a ride worthy of state rounds/titles. Awesome. Would have to be one of, if not the best “organised weekend ride” I’ve been on.
I still feel a bit second hand today and that’s only after the riding 2 loops (130km).

My collar bone was a similar unspectacular experience. I hit a hard to see branch and it sent me over. It’s often the small crashes that do the damage.

Nah missed that one, must have been before I had the ability to auto record them.
There is some great history of Ferrari/Lambo/Fangio, some trials stuff. Lots of specials on Lancia/Audi and Group B racing.

looks look you’ll have plenty of time to admire. Try not to watch too much riding on tv/dvd, only makes it harder lol.
