No one made it up EVs OCD hill. Rocket tried to get up it and made it nice and slick, uncovered all the big roots, turned into a bitch of a climb at the top. I think I made it highest.
Yes that is an odd one. In fact near on bizar. It cant get through the filter, it cant get through the jets! Sounds like it may have dropped in the airbox on a filter change. Weird.
If anyone finds my blue/grey Thor glove let me know so I can stop looking for it endlessly… – found it ignore that.
Yep I’ll be in that for sure.

Bob riding a KTM? What, into the dam??
Great weekend lads. Some of the best tracks in the Central West, as LC says. Thanks to Bob and Michelle for the great hospitality and the rest of the group who turned up and put on a show.
I got reacquainted with the ground on those hill climbs as many of us did but other than that stayed upright and had a great time. About 240km all up.What’s the latest Justo? Tow truck to Orange?
Maybe, but I know it ate more oil than your IT thats a fact
All packed. Leaving 5:30am. I can smell the bacon already.
Thanks for the offer Wolfie. We will look you up next time we head out that way cheers!
6mm wow. You should measure with screwdriver tips!
I pulled down my 12hp briggs ride on motor last night. Similar end gaps, bore out of round and piston to bore clearance was nearly 1mm. Yikes. My 2 motorcycles are premix not oil injected.
I use Mobil 1 2T from the Mobil depot. Great value. Fully synth.Obviously too much bike for too little Moto
Haha just kidding Moto.
That’s what I would do Moto. Not sure if that’s the right money (sounds fair to me). I have to do the same to the frame on my WR.
Rocket’s a welder!
Too far away to help though.
No that’s a real bad idea Bob. That’s what happened at that BD ride 2011 to me. I had to get towed back to camp by a HONDA!!
The old well known sign of wear was lifting the chain off the rear sprocket. If it lifts more than halfway off the teeth it’s shagged. Looking at the front sprocky, thin teeth, curved teeth, very wide gap between teeth – all bad. Many riders replace 1 front for every rear and chain as they wear (visibly) quicker than the rear.Scotty wrote:New brake pads on the RMX and bought some new tyres but too lazy to fit them. Think I might take it out tomorrow and give the old tyres one last run.I can feel a “just one more lap” or a “just one more loop” moment coming on…..
