Same here Rob, pics and links are annoying. You cant even copy just the link and paste in safari. Crappo.
13k Vs $150…. And you both have been saving….. Looks like you have the balance working in your favour mate.
Thumbs up
Gee wizz Murph!
With all that colourful venting it had to get moved into the swearing section.
I know your pain. Many that have brought a new/sh bike have wished they kept their old one.
I don’t hear of many owners going through repeat issues with efi so bring it back to the dealer and fire up.
Your going to have to be pretty careful with fuel, especially with your jerry cans and drums. It goes with the technology nowdays. Did I mention I ride a simple 2 stroke? No just kidding, it will be ok.
Let the shop have a crack and hopefully it will be a one off mate.
Worse case senario you could fit up a FCR carbie… no just jokingYou bought it Gaz? You should print out the listing and keep it with the bike. Will increase it’s value for certain
Looks like tropical fruit from the supermarket.
Are the pyramid bits hollow inside or are they just chunks on the outside? Or put another way, does it look like the inverse on the inside?
Well there’s a shock. I had a double take when I read the title. I didn’t realised all you blokes cared…
Thanks very much for the well wishing. Not a bad day it was.
Scored around $300 worth of tools I needed in the workshop.
I’m still owed a GPS from my 33rd birthday……I’ve finally reached “Veteran” status! 35 yes, but after all these years I think I actually feel like I’m not 20 anymore.
No riding in this weather Murph, bloody 33C+ every day here.
Another 4 days will be 2 years since I landed on my head on that fatefull 36C day.
5 weeks and I’ll be dad and finally a grown up haha.
Cheers guys, Axel

That’s rubbish I get 130k on mine.
….
Saw it myself too axel , Gas Gas Ec300 , on reserve at just over 70 km of single track riding.
I don’t doubt it. The King was implying that that is common for a Kato 300 which is not necessarily so.
Brand new 2 strokes get bad economy until they run in a few hours, jetting makes a big difference. Someone hand over a DRZ400 to me for 30 min I’ll make it chew through fuel like it’s 1969.
Wow that’s not bad. I was thinking sure pistons, yeah crank, lets see the valve gear …. bloody hell he made that too!
TB is right, the rear on the katos are very sensitive. You should have preload adjustment on the front too. Play with that a couple turns both ways. Regarding the handlebar position I had to go through every combination until I found one that my body and the bike was happy with NOT what I thought was right. You’d be surprised. Try a different combo each ride – you ride enough!

Strangely, I have a good mate in Melbourne who actually thinks and talks like this guy. They must journey to a parallel universe sometimes to come up with stuff like that.
I waste my time – I mean work with computers all day and that made my eyes cross Chris. Good work on bringing it all back online.
Powered by KTM…. gee wizzzz
Sensible? No way. Dudes getting a Husa, I sense it to be true. 510 or thereabouts. Home brew comin my way?
