I’m not sure why axel said I should pass on the Husky though.

Just my opinion Action, if your a fan, have owned one before or if you want to keep it for the long term – got for it. If your dealership is close by and you have a mate that works there – excellent.
There is a higher risk of a Husky being … not quite right and being more demanding on the wallet. There is the resale issue too. I have ridden a few and they are not any better than anything else if you know what I mean.

I have a ktm 250 exc f 07 model and am very happy with it.. i bought it brand new, like the other lads have said regulary do filters and oils 👿

I’ve had the exact same bike from new, but don’t share your enthusiasm sorry. I used nothing but recommended Motorex in that bike and it was treated like royalty.
Personally if I was set on a 250,f it would be a WR.

08 and newer katos are a better chassis no question. Unlike Wrocket im not fanatical about the newer motors. Like to see 16,000km on original top end like Murphs RFS! Id pick an 07 RFS or 10 RC4.

All looks like a good idea Action. I personally would go any of those options but the Husky one.
If you like 4 bangers you can’t go past a taxi WR.

    Nice find Bol.
I’d be worried about that calf kicking the sheet out of me whist riding with one hand…
He’s just lucky the black fellas didn’t take his bike whilst he was not looking…

27mm was my rheem anode. Just needed a ratchet.

27mm not to bad. 1/2″ drive my short breaker might do it, thanks. Don’t forget to release the water pressure and turn the power off :)

Thing is the bolt at the top of the anode is bigger than most peoples basic tool kit. A mate said by a cheap socket and weld a long pipe to it like a breaker bar.
Mines only 8 years old so should be right for another couple.

Funny how farmers don’t like leaving stuff intact even after they died. They either pull them to bits to fix them and give up or steal parts of them to make into “experiments” that end up at the other end of the scrap heap.
