Up.n comin secret squirrel King STM ride is it? Nothing to see here it seems.
Hey Murph. Very kind/generous offer there. I may take up the accommodation offer. Will be just me out of team Dubbo coming. Looks like my tent has gone AWOL from the birthday ride so if I can roll the sleeping bag out Sat or Fri or both under cover that would be great. Otherwise I’ll sleep in the wagon, no problem. Murphsburg is not ment to be easy! I’ll harden up dammit!!
No worries Lefty, cheers mate.
Hey lads, I’ll be the first to admit then that I still feel like I’ve been hit by a freight train (even at my youthful age). Worse than after the 4day, easily. That’s life being off the bike for nearly 2 years. Great rides, awesome loops, great company.
BTW, my little 2 man tent never appeared at the Capertee car park Sunday avo. It made it onto the truck that I’m certain. My stuff was the last on the truck, threw it up to Lefty I think before eskys went on.
Update: Moose has found my tent. All good.
Cheers, Axel

May 24, 2011 at 1:39 am in reply to: 3rd Annual OBT Birthday Ride Weekend, 28th, 29th May 2011 #198448TB we have a scratching. Bean has chickened out. I repeat, Bean is out. I’m still in, despite the fear of dying quietly of cold in the night there. If that’s the case then you guys can negotiate a good price for my 300 with my wife.
Hey Al I’m pretty sure the current 4t springs will be way too firm for the 2t. The original 4t springs however, might be ok. I was going to do the same from 250f to my 300 but it wasn’t to be.

I’m one of the young blokes but even I don’t like sleeping on the ground. They roll up ok but I’d say mine would be a good 40% of the Total luggage still, if you know what I mean. If it’s all gravy, it’s all gravy.

I’m sharing a tent and esky, have a self inflating mattress and sleeping bag that i’ll roll into a big fat doogie. Should be similar size to a swag. That should be ok yeah?I’ll ride em up the hills if they get stuck
lol
Nah, can’t give you shit for a family day ride bloke. Good on you. We’ll get you over there for a ride soon enough. -
