Ohhhhh nuuuuuts!
Welcome! Interesting choice of name….
Happy 20th Diddel. Ride on!
Choice is the goal I think. Rec Rego or Full is the choice we could have. I say it’s a great idea. Finally will be able to ride my WR200 in the scrub legally.
That’s great news. As coincidence has it, a good mate and I have some KTM bouncy gear to send away somewhere in Jan/Feb for setup/maintenance. Big step for us. We are both quite reluctant to let anyone touch our bikes.
Looking forward to reading some good stuff on here soon then.Cool, nice bike.

When I started reading this thread Terminator 2 did spring to mind. XR80/100 2stroke with 1000 gears.

Mission accomplished then.
Reins…..classic. 😆
Hey Ecks that’s not a bad idea. If I’m feeling funny again soon I might fire up a new thread on it. I’m sure Crash here will be willing to help out!

Quote:The spikes are pressed into the peg, but as Greg said they aren’t as bad as they look, Nice and easy on your bootsWell yes that is one of the concerns but also sometimes it’s nice to remove a couple in certain spots to get the grip Vs angle right. I have a set of old Fastways and the different height grub screws allows some “adjustability” there. Amazing how fast those screws wear down too.
They look good however, the spikes are coned shaped so your probably right, won’t cut into the soles. Thanks for the info.

Someone had to laugh, surely.
In all seriousness, I have not owned a set yet but appreciate the fact that your boot soles get a break from the front-of-peg pressure. Might get an extra year or 2 out of our $500 boots.

TB you were saying that the outboards exhaust is in the water and that’s how they get around the emissions laws but surely expelling the gasses and unburnt fuel into the water can’t be good, wouldnt a boat putting its crap into the water be just as bad as a bike putting its crap in the air?I just think it’s funny how they think like that or maybe I’m missing something.Great read and great site TB

Agreed. The smoke in water is smoke in mirrors stuff. I’d say their emission testing equipment isn’t water proof hahahahha!
There is probably poorly written legislation that allows this. It may state “air pollution” rather than “anywhere pollution”.For all we know the 2T technology may be hampered by patent licensing fellas.
Welcome back Moto. Been quiet around here of late. Hope the smoker is going well for you still. Have read some of your R&D posts lately.
They look like carbon reads? I’m a little surprised they broke. Cracking more likely. Have heard of that happening in the past. Old reads we used to turn over to get more life out of them. Seeing as KTM has affection for V-Force reads I would be considering them first as a replacement Murf.
Hoping those spikes can be removed?
“….this is the start of something we have all been waiting for.”
Bwahahahahha
I’m pretty sure using a fuel injector to replace a carby is hardly brain surgery and hardly a complete solution. Neither is spark-less combustion.
Golf-clap for Honda.
