Well what an impression you all made!!!!!!
I just got off the phone to XR650Rob.
He abused the S#@t out of me.
Firstly for introducing him to the Old Bulls forum & for secondly fixing his bike so he could go away for a ride with you guys.
Now his bike is all screwed up, bent subframe, exhaust & rear wheel & he is nursing a couple of bruised kidneys. Now I’m not to sure about the bruised kidneys, I usually say I have a chill on my kidneys after a big night on the beers, but hey I have to feel sorry for him.
I will pass this on though, he & his mate had a ball.
The Old Bulls have a way of making everyone feel welcome.
Wish I had of been there! No I don’t, couldn’t think of anything worse than having to follow TB around all day.

Sorry to everyone that has already paid, but I have had no contact from KRAM 140 & Mickp as yet.
I do not recieve any discounts from pivot pegs for offering the old bull pricing, but I have to purchase 12 sets to recieve 1 x set for free, this is then sold in my shop & that’s my profit for the deal. I also have to pay for the pegs before they leave Tassie, so I hope you can all understand why I can’t place the order until I recieve payment. If anyone is able to contact these two guys, please do so, we need to order yor pegs.
    Many thanks

    Hi Everyone
Sorry I’ve been a bit slack with posting on this special, but I’ve been going through a few dilemas lately.
We all know what dealing with teenagers is like?
I also had to go into to hospital to have an operation & that took me out of action for a few weeks.
Thank you to Scott for organising the bulk buy.
We are ready to roll I just need to get payment from

    Mickp 08 KTM690
    KRAM 140 KTM450

As soon as I get payment for these two I can fax through the order

    Thanks gotta run

    G’day Everyone,

Firstly can I say thank you for jumping on board the Pivot Pegz deal.
We have sold over 100 sets of these pegs & I have not had one unhappy customer.
Battye’s Bikes sponsors a few riders & they all swear by Pivot Pegz.
One example of how good these pegs are.
We sponsor a sixteen year old kid, Dale Blackwell, this year he is competing as a Pro in the Australian Off Road Series, The NSW Sprint Series, the NSW Enduro Series & a few selected desert races. I know he is already confirmed for the Hattah.
He used to wear out 4 pairs of boots a season, only the soles wore out from rubbing on the footpegs. With his pivot pegz, he runs a full season with two pairs of boots & they are still in good nick at season end. That alone is a good enough reason to run Pivot Pegz, you will save money on boots.
Just to give you an idea, he is training on the bike 15 hours a week. He just jumped on practice bike number two & he’s only been back on the bike since mid January. (I’m not going to upset all you ATM riders by telling you that after 30 hours practise bike number one’s motor expired.)
If any of you guys & girls are going to the first round of the Aust Off Road in Port Macquarie next weekend keep an eye out for him, he is a really friendly kid & would love it if you said g’day.
He is competing on a KTM250SXF & will be pitted next to the Motorex KTM boys.

Anyhow back to the Pivot Pegz purchase info

Can you all make payments via direct deposit to:

    ACC Name: Battye’s Bikes
    Bank: Westpac
    BSB: 032-059
    ACC: 191848

or call the shop on 02 9543-5133, ask for Louise the Mustard sandwich professional & give her you credit card details.

So I can keep a record of your order can you all please email me with your name, nickname, bike model & year, address to which we are sending the pegz too & a contact phone number.
If you can all get this done in the next day or two I will have the pegz ordered early next week & shipped out to you all.
    Thank you again & enjoy
The Cranky Old Fat Bloke they call Fat Head.
But we all know who takes a larger helmet than me!!!!!!!

    Hey everyone

Our Dyno is a Dyno Dynamics Dyno, the flywheel only weighs 7 kgs, tha’s the reason we can run Dirt Bike with a dirt tyre.
Some other brands of dyno’s have rely on the flywheel weight ( a couple of hundred kilo’s) & this is why they have to fit a road tyre to a dirt bike becuase the weight of the roller will rip all the tread off.

For a power run we do three runs, this will not damage your tyre, if I was doing a rejet or remap I would fit a road tyre to the bike. Running the bike on our dyno will have the same effect of riding on the tar.

TB get the big girl on & we’ll see if anyone can beat her.

For everyone that went to Hampton, Louise’s ZX10R produced 150 hp on Thursday. On the weekend we were scrutineering the race bikes at Eastern Creek. Her bike had the second highest horsepower reading in the Superstock 1000 class. Not bad for a Chick’s Road Bike.

PS: My M109R has the same torque curve as a F111

I’d like ot thank you all for supporting Battye’s Bikes & hopefully we can continue to help you all out where ever possible.

For those that may be interested, I had to purchase a couple of extra sets, so if anyone would like to buy a set to suit WR/YZ and CRF, I have one of each at the 10 buy price of $185.00

Put it this way, The boss gets to ride her bike to work, she sits in the office all day with the heater on, makes the odd personal phone call, if it’s too hard, she takes a message so I can handle it Friday.

In the mean time I get to wipe running noses, runny bums, watch thomas the tank engine & bob the builder.

No prizes for guessing where I would rather be!!!!

I would gladly stay at home full time if she could repair bikes.
