I cant believe they would do this either. I was tossing up between ktm 350 or sherco SEFr 300 for the last 18 months. I was leaning towards sherco for the lesser weight but after seeing Mals starter motor break it scared me off. its too risky especially if you ride alone . I would have been stranded in the bush a dozen times without a kickstarter its not hard to flatten a battery it happens all the time.So i got the ktm and my wr went straight to the wreckers.

I was a facebook hater but now im on it (dirt bikers only) I see that it is really good for local stuff, but you cant meet riders from 600ks away on FB, Through OBT ive met top blokes from all over NSW, QLD and Menace and ridden trails I never would have. If your only riding locally you are missing out.
Is it possible to make OBT a facebook group? Its just easier to use and phone friendly, I hope it survives

Thanks heaps to the Murphs for their hospitality, had a great time and went a lot better than last time, doing a murphsberg without needing the strap is one of the highlights of my riding career. Amazon was epic and parts even seemed familiar after looking at Murphs photos for 5 years but it finished off my clutch. So much good riding around the watagans endless single track and steppy hills, cant wait to come back.

The extension means you pull it further but it just feels like you have more clutch to use wich so far im liking, ive been using one finger with the ballards lever for years but get sore tendons the extension makes it lighter than the Berg 300 I rode on the weekend.

Unfortunately Nick J broke his pelvis today at the Lowanna Quarry he came off on a steep downhill and fell onto a log not sure yet if he needs surgery, very unlucky to crash at such a low speed after he rode across oz unscathed. Get well soon
