So are the trails well ridden through the pines Mr. Blue ?

    Are they “pine singles”??

I’m thinking yes Ev , I haven’t ridden them but I’ve seen the plantation , if your keen for an explore let me know or I’ll check them out and you can join me when I’ve found something you’d like ;)

    Gents,
Now I have finally bought a bike, 07′ WR250F what bling do I NEED??

    The bike is STOCK standard….

Radiator Guards? Force or Devol or???
Alloy Bash Plate? Are they all the same? Is any one brand better??
    Bark busters? Same as above?
    Airfilter?

    What else do you think?

    Thanks guys.
    Cheers

    From a 450 owners perspective…..

Force Readiator guards are the go, they’ve been known to replace them for free if they get bent

After a bit of time, a fork upgrade as they are average & get worse with age.

Sb what forks do you recomend how much?
Is that true about force guards mine are bent?
Is the 450 new didnt you ride a 250 at Lowanna?

450 is the go, much easier to ride both skill and fitness wise, the weight you will hardly notice but the power you will.
Also there more versatile you can gear it to climb hills or ride on the highway.
Get a WR they can take a punch ;)

These blokes should call themselves tabbies cause they too can go up creeks and have bodies full of muscle and head full of shit. No wonder greenies hate us bike riders when they see stuff like this. What’s wrong with riding trails?

    WTF r u on about
why would a greeny be any more pissed off when u r roosting the shit out of a loamy trail leaving an incandescent scar there for water to erode the trail and silt up watercourses

sorry i forgot you ride a drz not much roosting

I agree you cant put a rut in rock.

    Ev,
I used to ride that area frequently, there was (think it may have been logged) a pine plantation just off Mills Road.
We rode through the area on Thursday, but didn’t go via that track, next time I’m up that way I’ll check it out for you.
Here’s where it is/was… Head to Bostobrick, turn right on Moonpar Road, turn left on Mills Road then it’s either the first or second on your left, think it’s Blicks River Road, but could be mistaken. I know it by sight, not by name.
Easy to find though, just as the ground surface starts to change, goes to that hard packed clay, your looking for a track on the left hand side which has an open grassy area at it… Will make sense when your there lol.
The track your after heads towards Blicks River (nice river crossing) Just after you turn off Mills Road there is a long straight which ran through a pine plantation, there was a couple of singles which ran through it on the right hand side as well… Please note, this is going back around 5-6 years & I haven’t been there since, think it might have been logged?

Mobong Falls is worth a look if your ever up that way & haven’t been there already ;)

Top riding all through Cascade & Moonpar, used to ride some nice singles that ran from Cascade to near The Cod Hole.
Nice singles around Brooklana/Bobo area as well.

    Paul.

Thanks for the tip Paul, that area looked interesting on google ill definetly check that out.
