I would personally say yes. Broken bones. Think very carefully which bones or organs will be impacted when you land on said appliance. You would see me on more rides if i only thought more about it in the first place. Cheers.
Your talking to a bloke that wears no armour  but rides like someone who does :S
Bob, Today I found one the same as mine but better at bunnings in the discontinued bin $4
axel wrote:Pine forests are great to ride in. When wet the roots make things interesting. You sound super keen for a repeat it seems….
In 09 i rode some pine plantation somewhere up that way. Near a really nice national park camping area on that river Namboi… Something.Nymboida is the river Axel , You dont remember a name do you ? Im on google and around Cascade and Moonpar seems interesting any adventure riders been up there ?
I think 13/49 will be the same as 14/52 which i tried once and sucked, top speed was 80/90 you had to change gears constantly and it will throw you over the bars everytime you back the throttle off.
DAY 3
Left Bobs and in 10 mins we were at the old AORC track. a well planned single trail a little haggard now but that just made it more fun. A few hours in Adam bailed out and we headed to the MX track then home by 1pm.
Thanks heaps to Bob and Michelle for all there efforts in putting on a top weekend.
The terrain was so different to home and the pace and distance were spot on, I used 28 litres in 2.5 days
Highlights were the pine singles wich we dont have here, the weather and getting back on the good side of Newcastle. Some of the damage
Day 2
Adam and his son Sam had arrived overnight plus Galey made 10. We rode for a few hours untill Adams Flat, changed that then did some open fire trails, at times the pace red hot and by the time we met Michelle and the kids for lunch everyone was feeling it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_N0AHPBDCQ&context=C354fa12ADOEgsToPDskJMbsogDKPq4eKprY0dIte5

Adam changed his tyre again as it had been leaking (he did well to keep up because it was almost fully flat).
After lunch we had a go at a hill, not very big but steep it was one wide rut with a dog leg so you couldnt hit it at full speed add some roots and loose rocks and a small step right near the top and it was pretty hard. One of those hills were bailing out gracefully was hard and turning around even harder.
Sam and LC made it after a couple of gos, me Galey, Rocket and Jason tried our best but couldnt get it.
I peaked at about try 3 and gradually got worse and worse in the end it turned into a clinic on how to turn your bike around an a hill.
We did a few easier hills then some more pine singles the pace was flat out and fatigue was taking its toll on everyone.
About 7ish a group bailed and a few of us did some more single track untill dark, had dinner then watched the vids of the day including commentary from Bob that had us all in stitches.Arrived at Bobs at 9am Rocket, Jason, Nathan, LC and Bob were waiting we headed off and Bob lead us on a loop that had all sorts of terrain and trails my favourite was the pine singles (does anyone know were the nearest pine forest to Coffs is ? SERIOUSLY)
We headed home for lunch and to meet Mal5.1.Some large steaks and ominus clouds meant only 4 of us were keen for an arvo ride. we went about 3ks and got smashed by a hail storm easily the worst conditions I have ridden in and I would have bailed but i was sweep, after 5mins we were in town and Bob lead us into someones garage we waited 10 mins and it cleared up, then we rode some nice single trail before heading home for dinner.

micknmeld wrote:Ev, it can be any grade you want. There are some nasty grade 5 hills if you want to do them (Garbage trail is one that comes to mind), there is a motocross track, a sprint track, a hill climb challenge track and hundreds of km’s of trails out Bills Back gate.Sounds unreal, put me +1 on the list please.

A big Kitchen and a great place for the ring of Knowledge!! Although there might be a Poo stain there from some Bungers that were let off last time I was there :S Now also a Pool !!

evCan you pencil me in plaese.
You can make an effective anti theft device using a shotgun shell and a rat trap.
So ive heard.Bob wrote:” he would have had 10+ gos at a hill even if he never looked like making it.”Apparently i never look like i’m going to make it , but some times i suprise myself and others
might have to cable tie my feet to the pegs ?
Good one ev
looking forward to the next one
The last hill at macksville took me ten goes maybe thats why our bikes look the same.
