Yeah Bundy i strapped it on last trip, knowing that i was riding into the afternoon sun, only put about 30% charge into the phone though, hence the 12v plug that i put into the dash.
I’m planning to be at the b’day bash so you can check them out there Eagle, and compare . been leaving them switched on when i’m heading into work, making sure that i’m seen – lol, and even took a detour through Lane Cove nat park early one morning and they definately light the road up far better than the normal headlight :cheer:

cant wait to test in the bush proper

i’m on a trsty old DRZ400, 14 tooth front sprocket so more geared for road but it seems talkie enuf for climbs etc, but the tyres may let me down (About 20 – 30%). keen for friday and looking to increase my skill level also as been more used to fire trails and just cruising along. – so probably a grade 2 but can stay in the saddle for long periods and don’t need many rest stops – webs creek sounds cool

same, normally by time it’s dark i like to be settled, tent up and having a beer or rum in front of a fire, but better to be prepared, spesh as winter coning on and i’ll be riding to work in the dark ( well even darker).

wasn’t 100% sure as to how to assemble the connecter properly but i think i got it mostly right – lol.

those lights seem pretty solid mate, i dont think you regret the purchase, – the delivery was pretty quick also

and they will be going onto a tenere when i can afford one

So what does it do Bender?

Track your ride via your mobile phone?

Or do you upload a trip report to it after you have done the ride?

That would have been helpful information – lol
it does track your ride like a lot of others, the bit i like about this is that you use the app to take photos which adds them to your trip report, you can add notes/captions to the photos as well. there is a check in function, a pretty good statistics page (speed calculations can be a bit off). it all links into a web site where you can check ur friends trips etc.
reason i posted it was that for a freeby it is pretty good, and a good way to share a good days riding with a group of like mided people
anyone perhaps know of a better one?

the cops said that they started it with a screw driver, and that the grub was trying to sell it to some kid, the dad saw the damage to the ignition and reported it.

the bike was taken to the Manheim Fowler holding yards and i was told that i could tender for it, after much to-ing and fro-ing i was told that no i could not buy the bike back, i had to bid for it when it appeared on their online auction.. – it never did, i rang them about it and no-one new about it.

i was also pointed out to me (eventually) that the new rules in NSW prohibit a stat writeoff from ever being registered again, the whole episode was a debarkle and the only people i thanked or qwould like to thank is the dad who reported it and the coppers who followed it up.

thre grubs who steal our treasured bike have no idea or don’t care on the impact that it has on us, as a bike is more than a possession but a whole way of life – well it is to me.

Sorry guys , been a while but i’m back, Coppers caught the grub who stole the bike, but I’d already claimed the insurance and they classed the bike as a stat right off so no longer able to register the bike nor could i buy it back from manheim who had it in their storage yard.

but just got myself a 2000 DRZ 400e so i’m back in the saddle again, having to replace the headset bearings before i take it out touring or go bush on it, but won’t be long :-)

Action MC at Parra had a few ex army drzs, i had a look at them but the one they had there was already sold, they had kick start as well as the electric leg, guards over everything, larger tank, would have been a good deal…………
