I have to agree with all the comments, I am so disappointed I didn’t get to finish the ride with starting issues and eventually back spasms. I haven’t been able to move too far since I laid down and the back cooled off. Better see the back cracker tomorrow!! The missus was happy I came home in that state for our wedding anniversary, they are such understanding souls…..no going out for dinner afterall.
But it was great while it lasted, met some great people, the sweeps were fantastic when I got stuck and had starting problems – there was more than one OBT helping me that was shaking his head at these European left hand kick start contraptions!! They do take some getting used to and are impossible with a strained back. So I couldn’t have got as far as I did without them.
Barry and Shirley really looked after me with food and drinks (and painkillers) while I waited for the group to come back in so I appreciated that hugely.
Thanks also to Unit for riding me out – I was glad he could get back out and rejoin the ride and finish the day.
It was great to catch up with some familiar faces from Tamvegas as well so I hope to get over there soon to experience the Nundle ride, please keep me informed.
Thanks Mick for organising and everyone for the hospitality I hope to get out and ride with you guys again soon.
