Well I’m glad Bigger Al liked my little 310 cos I love it.

When I gave it to him I told him the forks needed a little attention but as I was going to Cape York on my DR my money had to go in that direction.

I did have a bit of trouble with fork seals initially but last time they leaked Rory at Rocks put in the tripple lip ones he mentioned and I got well over a year out of them. That was riding trails, MotoX, sprints and PonyX so I was very happy with them.

True, it’s not the fasted bike on the market, but I’m not the fastest rider either. I reckon it’s a great all rounder and the harder you push it the more it seems to like it.

Mechanically, I’ve had very few problems at all. I did have a temp sensor pack it in a couple of times but that was fixed under warrenty. Yes they do come with a real warrenty. And compared to Orange bikes of the same year???? Well a I Know of at least three that are on there 2nd or 3rd rebuild for the sameish amount of hours.

Orange = too higher state of tune for the average joe. IMO

Husky = not the fastest bike(but close) in the market place but reliable and value for money.

Can I have it back now Al………. please :)

you wont your bike back then I wont have a bike to ride, because I sold the drz while you were away.

the wife has a 2011 te310 which is a bit tall for her what im wondering is what is envovled with the lowering inks ,how much would it drop it ,do you have to do work to the front suspenion to keep it even, how much work is envovled in fititng ,any info would be great and the big question would be how much loose and with fitting

http://www.koubalink.com/ they make a lowering link for the 310 lowers about inch and a half as for the front slide forks up the tripple clamp as high as you can,and dont forget about the side stand it will be to long.

    cheers bigger al

Of all the complaining people do about the DRZ there is one thing they do quick, SELL. Mine was the easiest bike I have ever sold. Sold in 2 days to the first buyer for what I wanted, :)

    same 2 days full price.

probably a couple of months no time to ride at the moment, fruit trees are starting to flower and things will start to get busy.
