One of the most under rated bikes ever made,I remember a guy racing one back in the day, raced against him several times the xr250 didn’t seem to have a lot of power but what it did have was very usable, had a chance to ride his xr great power and great handling, not long after that I brought a new xr 600 heaver but a great bike. bigger al:) :) :)

I’ve had a dodgy ignition switch for a while now and it’s a fairly commen fault with key ignitions so today I bypassed and rewired it , done an oil change, full check of bolts etc and loaded mine and Gary530’s ktm we are leaving at 5 am and meeting STM at 6.30 then be in bello for 7.30.

Really looking forward to this one now !!!

Nick had the same problem with my ignition you can pull the key barrel apart easy job works great now. :)

I fitted one to the OBT project DR they are only 99 bucks unbreakable and provide a good light as well. I have had the same one on my XR (red of course  ) since 2006 seen a heap of roosting while racing and never smashed

ps don’t let Boony pick one he has had some ugly lights on his DR

    TB

TB you got the same bulb in the polisport that it came with, because my high beam is ok but low beam sucks.
