Well coffs has been and gone two quick,a big thanks to stm and nickj for one of the most memorable rides I have ever been on,the riding up there has to be some of the best in the country,I had a great time will have a lot of fine memories from that ride thats for sure,Coreys dummy spit on that clay hill will be the funniest thing I have seen for a while, the drz I cant fault it,it sure is the bike for me, thanks to all the guys that made this ride as enjoyable as it was, rode all three days and then came home and went out riding on monday with a mate who just got a drz 400e, we might have another obt member I think. Thanks again every one, Bigger Al.

Also the clutches are useless I’m on my third in 130000km and a mate with a Navara is on his second in 80000. Their are heavy duty clutches avalible but they won’t fit them under warrenty.
I reckon they are all very similar now and apart from resale the hilux isn’t leaps ahead of all the others like it used to be, on price and hindsight I’d go the Navara.A late model secondhand Hilux will be a lot easier to sell than a late model secondhand Navara.
I would be test driving a new Hilux as well.Gotowo
Go the D40 navara I have 100,000k on mine no clutch problems its a typical nissan bullet proof.
My budget is 30k so my choice is new Navara or second hand Hilux.

Quote:Why I’m divorced . . .Last week was my birthday and I didn’t feel very well waking up on that morning..
I went downstairs for breakfast
hoping my wife would be pleasant and say,
‘Happy Birthday!’,
and possibly have a small present for me.As it turned out,
she barely said good morning,
let alone
‘ Happy Birthday.’I thought….
Well, that’s marriage for you,
but the kids….
They will remember. My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast
and didn’t say a word..
So when I left for the office,
I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent. As I walked into my office,
my secretary Jane said,
‘Good Morning Boss, and by the way
Happy Birthday ! ‘It felt a little better
that at least someone had remembered.I worked until one o’clock ,
when Jane knocked on my door
and said, ‘You know,
It’s such a beautiful day outside,
and it is your Birthday,
what do you say we go out to lunch,
just you and me..’
I said, ‘Thanks, Jane, that’s the greatest thing
I’ve heard all day. Let’s go !’We went to lunch.
But we didn’t go where we normally would go.
She chose instead at a quiet bistro
with a private table.
We had two martinis each
and I enjoyed the meal tremendously. On the way back to the office,
Jane said, ‘You know,
It’s such a beautiful day…
We don’t need to go straight back to the office,
Do We ?’I responded, ‘I guess not.
What do you have in mind ?’
She said,
‘Let’s drop by my apartment,
it’s just around the corner..’After arriving at her apartment,
Jane turned to me and said,
‘ Boss, if you don’t mind,
I’m going to step into the bedroom
for just a moment.
I’ll be right back.’
‘Ok.’ I nervously replied. She went into the bedroom and,
after a couple of minutes,
she came out
carrying a huge birthday cake …
Followed
by my wife, my kids,
and dozens of my friends
and co-workers,
all singing ‘Happy Birthday’.And I just sat there….
On the couch….
Naked.
owl that’s a cracka.

I am not saying they work (And I wear one) but pull your head out of the sand and just notice how many people are wearing them
TB
I have noticed how many people wear them, they are all being taken for a ride.
If they aid balance shouldnt you have one on each wrist to balance yourself out.
if they add balance im gunna buy a dozen and stuff em in my fuel tank then the frickn bike might stay upright.

Quote:Al if the 15 liter is the go for you the Clark or Acerbis is the one you want… Check out thumper talk as well.. In the DRZ400 section there are some photos and feedback.. Search the DRZ forum for “Tank” Some guys don’t like the height of the tank as it is taller and apparently could ram the nutso’s while standing.. I think the Acerbis is around $320 delivered Clark is cheaper..Photos – http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=549829
