Hi Jak I found a brand new Michelin 21″ front tyre in my garage, would you like it.
If so I will keep a hold of it until our next ride.

Jeffro, I have not done any riding around Morwell it’s self but there is a sh!t load of riding within an hours drive of there that Menace and myself know. ie: Neerim South, Noojee, Bunyip, Labertouche just to name a few. You can gets maps of these areas from any Aussie Deposal store or if any of us are available we would be more than happy to show you around.

TB
It’s always much easier when someone shows you how to do it, plus we now have the videos to fall back on if we need a refresh.
Hey Mal your teaching & help were great with TB’s guidence.
I now know how to change tyres & also fix a puncture on the trail.
I have now ordered some levers for the trail & also a larger set to keep in the garage.
Two top looking & very intellegent models you used on that training video….
That’s been around for a while now….just awsome!!!
You should have a crack at it
I don’t know how you would explain your new hobby to the wife.
Fitted a full set of Pirrelli’s form Sutto’s on my Berg FE550E (Front & Rear) with the help and guidence from TB & Mal5.1 for the Kenda Rally.
I did 150K’s of all sorts of different trail conditions and they handled every bit of terrain. Great hook up and grip, they just climbed everything that was throwen at them.
The only small problem I had with them and this is more my fault is I kept locking the rear wheel & stalling the bike coming into tight corners on a downhill, this was becuse they just had so much grip. Soon as I worked out what was happening and changed how I was breaking never had the problem again.

Quote:Is Menace wounded?Hey Menace I felt for you while on the ride….Mate you would have had a ball
Look on the bright side you are upright, can walk and also looks like you will not have to go under the knife and all going well you will be back on the bike within a month or two.
A bit off advice coming from Dad,
always work on the positive and only remember the negatives so you know not to do that again……look after yourself and get well soon.
PS: Always remember to smile…
Why did you attack a WR???
Dave & I had a top weekend and it was a great effort made by TB & Mal5.1 to drive all that way and do the full 150K ride.
Only had the one off for the day but I did have to rescue Dave from down in a gully when he go cut off going into a corner, bloody Honda riders…
TB the new Perelli tyres you picked up for me from Suttos were awsome, best tyres I have had.
Also a big thanks for lesson on how to change tyres and also Mal a big thank you for your help as well….It is great to find people who are willing to pass on there knowledge to others.
It was also great to meet you guys and there was great lot of bullshit bantered at the pub and around the camp fire.
Mal thanks for letting me have one shot on the pool table..
The Kenda boys laid out a great variety of trial to keep everyone happy, some good hills, single trail, rocks, loam, slippery red crap, heaps of tree roots & lose rock, mud etc, etc.
Top speed hit for the ride 120K’s per hour & I was the slow one, gps don’t lie. I mapped all of the first loop but forgot to turn the gps on for the second loop after the short 20min break, I’m not a dickhead
I hope to get to NSW for a ride in the very short future if I’m allowed, you guys move way to quick for me.
“is the BBQ a definate sat night? if so i will bring some coleslaw with my special mayonaise “
I don’t know about your mayo, I hope it is not man made!!!……
“At least their call centre can be located at the factory “
LMAO……Also Harley Davidson has opened a manufacturing plant in India and I did read something last week that they are thinking of shuting down the main Plant in the US and move all major production over there, only a rumour at this stage.
Hey VTB did you notice I set the count down clock for this ride last week, no you didnt. You used to be cool man about the music
That clock…
That is great….very much looking forward to meeting you and the others that are coming on the ride.
TB do you want me to bring a bike stand to make it easier on you and any other tools you may need?
Hey TB what clock????
Did you get my PM about the tyres?
Bill.
I too am very interested in what anyone has to say about them for the price they seem to good to believe, they even pivot like the Sidi’s.
I am wearing a pair of Sidi Crossfire Boots at the moment and they are coming near end of life after 3 years of wear, cost me around $600 on special when I purchased them. The only thing I hate about them is the inner booty; they are a pain to put on otherwise a fantastic boot.
Bill.
