I just had a look at ballards 661 body suits and the special is unfortunately only for sizes XS, SM and MED. Good price at $149.00

You are right about the zipper I read somewhere else that these have caused problems on the front also. But maybe alpinestars may have address this problem recently.

    Thanks for you comments Austblue

    Aaron,

TB is right, that is one of many great spots to view the action. Other great spots are between Rodinga and Bundooma although spectators and crews do camp along the entire track.

I have in car footage of the entire 230klm from Alice to Finke and return from when I raced there. A tough trip in a buggy, but insane :woohoo: on a bike, I am working on my fitness and bike skills to give it a crack in 2010.

If you have any questions about the event or pre running it I am happy to assist you where I can.

    Mick,

I have been thinkin about the directions to Gingers Creek.

This is the main route from Bellangary it is about 100klms.

Start on Hastings Forest Way, Left Forbes Rd, Left Sawyers trail, Left onto Forbes Rd again, Right Coombes Rd, Left Bitter Ground Creek Rd, Right Careys Rd, Left about 2klms then another Left about 3.5 klms, Right onto Seaview Rd, Left Tobins Rd, Left Spur Rd, Left Banjo Creek Rd, Left Oxley Hwy the travel about 4klm to Gingers Creek Cafe.

Mick I was considering going on your ride tomorrow, however my daughter has her first netball game tomorrow so I will have to wait until next time.

    Cheers

    TB and Moto,

    I really appreciate your comments.

TB as you suggested, I will also take the opportunity to replace the steering head bearings whilst front end is apart.

TB I see you have been to Finke Desert Race. Did you get a chance to ride the track to apatula.

The underbar mounting kit does appear to have some advantages. Are these type of kits easily installed? Or is it a marathon project I should tackle with a full fridge of beer.

As for which one…well I suppose it is like asking which girl is hotter….you will always get a different answer!

Thanks for the feedback on your experience with these Moto.

Did the steering feel any heavier?

    Thanks Champo and Moto,

After reading the ride report and viewing the pictures for the Wauchope ride, it undoubtedly looked like a great weekend was had by all.
