I got moved, Sorry, put it in the wrong place
CheersHow to be tight arsed with solvents
I use turps to clean just about everything from of course, oil based paints, clear lacquers etc…
Also chains, air filters, and any other filthy greasy part
What you do next is pour the whole sloppy disgusting mix into an old open top container and then wait a week or so
what happens is everything drops out of suspension to the bottom leaving clean turps on the top
tip it off and store in in a clean container
Use it over and over again
You can also use KERO, what ever is cheapest, they both work well.
KERO cleans oil based paints from brushes just as well as turpsBM
Do you have the frame and engine numbers ?
If you do post them up and everyone should keep a copy in there wallets in case you spot one somewhereBM
Hey Ock that sounds good as well, is there much riding down your way ?
I’m Up at Hazelbrook and have been exploring some of the local stuff for a couple of weeks so when ever your up to it come on up, I can’t ride on the bitumen ATM very far as the tyres I have are like tractor treads, a most uncomfortable ride
DRool, that sounds great, I’ll be up for that for sure, I’ve sent you a PM with my Phone Number etc
Catch ya’s
Hey TB
I was a bit worried about the open face at first but am used to it now also as you say the lack of vision and ventilation in a fullface outweigh the disadvantages I think, modern open face are a lot better than they used to be, the sides come around a lot further and they are thick so keeping your face away from the ground as well, also a mate got it for me for free, they cost brand new $159, got a set of Thor Ally goggles as well for $39 from Torpedo7 last week on weekly special, MCA at Auburn sell them for $109I’ll have to shoot a PM off to the Sunny corner guys soon for some riding up that way but ATM I am enjoying the local fire trails and the photo ops I can’t usually get to

Finally uploaded the images to my own homepage, going to try the avatar again
See ya all
BMSteveThanks, a whole heap of links I don’t have to look for/discover by my self
Cheers
Not only that, there lazy bastards, Spend a bit of time and cut it up so it fits in the OTTO Bin, takes a bit longer to get rid of it, but so what, it’s gone eventually and doesn’t cost a cent
Same problem in the mountains, although not to bad, it’s more rare here I think, wish you could catch them in the act though with the trusty mobile phone / Video camera

Thanks for the advise, I do like to keep things simple though and cooling systems with radiators
are to much for me, an XR250L is something I would consider no problems, also the XR250 is a lot cheaper than both the XR400 and the DRZ, I want to keep the price around $5000 all upCheers all and have a Great New Year
Steve
Thanks guys
I was kind of after something with a bit less punch therefore, an XR250 rather than a 400, but having said that if an XR400R comes along at the right price and condition, well I may not be able to resist
OK Mal5.1 I would look forward to that and only a little way from where I live, cool
And cheers to STM, Jeffro and Micknmeld, thanks for the reply’s
