Commitment,Commitment,Commitment,Commitment,Commitment. You can’t ride that quick without being 100% commited, it’s like hitting a rut and I slow down and bobble but if I hit it fast it’s a lot easier..

Better post up some vid of your COMMITMENT Chris so us armchair racers can pick the eyes out of it

    No’s limited at about 14

    Grade 3 4 5 depending on weather
Sat all dayer lunch break (maybe)
Sun 1/2, 2/3 depending on enthusiasam

some 3 and 4 ‘s may become 5’s because i couldn’t be bothered to pre run tracks and cut trees off

if its dry we might stay off faster tracks cause they’ll be dusty
if its wet we might stay off pine singles cause they might be too slippery for me
If its really wet ask LC he will be leading cause i’ll be too soft

Actually we’ll make it a mystery tour

    Staying my place
we might spear something for dinner tbc
    Swagging in and around house

Jesus bad luck mate  That’s a full rebuilt it reckon, shit! That fine aluminum gets everywhere

Did the clutch pressure plate bolt come loose or did it snap first?

    TB

I can’t see the bolt or spring retainer. It looks to have come loose, not snapped, and is either on the road to Laguna or floating around in the engine.

I’m actually in quite good spirits about it (don’t really know why) and as long as it gets fixed in the appropriate manner I’m sure it will be fine.

I do want it completely stripped down and every bearing replaced though. The oil looks like metallic paint and the aluminium fines will be absolutely everywhere.

I’m not blaming anyone, as TB says it’s one of those things nobody could pick would happen. It’s happened to me which is rather unfortunate given the ‘teething’ issues I already had though.

It’s had a tough few weeks though. I’ve managed to bend both radiators, rip the seat and dent the header pipe! Maybe I should learn to ride better

Don’t stuff around with it get it completely rebuilt otherwise you’ll regret it and so will your pocket and so will your dealer

As a ktm owner I have had a bit of experience with starter motors (but not the circuitry). I’m assuming that yamaha are like ktm with one positive wire going to the starter and then earthed through the engine.

The funny thing is I had a yamaha, starter always worked but it used to chew through batteries, now I have a ktm and the battery always works but it chews through starter motors. This is not meant to make you laugh as this is the tech help section.

Yeh mine chews batteries as well

I have a bad habit of leaving key on though

My money is on the button then the relay if it has one
    Pull wires out of button
    and cross them manually ??
