Thats cool
I had a great day as well , didn’t realise till the end but that is the longest i have been on the bike since i “Stepped off awkwardly in Tassie ” no wonder i was getting tired
At 5.04 on the vid i hit a very small stump that i knew was there ….. it was nearly a ….oops moment on film
It was a pity I couldn’t keep up
I love this shite :woohoo:
You’re full of it Bob.
You get your parts from City Coast Motorcycles in Wollongong, they get delivered for free and fitted for free, you should be pleased about that
I like pies

Yeh cant get the buggers to wash my bike though can i
singletrackmind wrote:I got a quote from Australia Post to send my rear wheel to a Californian bike shop. Return freight would be $265.30. You can send it cheaper but that takes up to 8 weeks. Using the current exchange rate I found a Calfornian bike shop that fits tubes for free if you buy a tyre but charge $19.35 (aus ) to fit otherwise. They stock Bridgestone UHD tubes for $34.95 (aus ).
Total cost is $319.60 with a turn around of about three weeks.STM
Thats a little bit ignorant Scotty
The fact that he was left with distaste in his mouth from going localy (rightly or wrongly) for a specific service
Will affect where he/she will shop next time ……..there is a bigger picture
You will never please everyone
I was once told that in Business 30% of the public will use you because they like your service or you
30 % Don’t won’t an will never agree with anything you provide or suggest
30 % don’t give a shit and will shop wherever convenient or cheapest
and finally 10 % are just Dickheads :unsure:I realise or are assuming that this is a site sponsor and this will tick some people off and they feel compelled to defend them
However to the original posters?? credit no specifics were ever mentioned (that i saw)
To the supposed shop in questions credit they have come to the party and are willing to address the issueAnd relating to the other issue of shopping o/s , because we live in such an affluent way and expect our standard of living to continually increase , we are shitting in our own nest
and last time i checked we live on a pretty big island.
Since everyone wants to be paid top dollar for doing fucall everything has to come from O/s including the bloke who has to make your $3 pies :huh:My rant
 Now that video is a little unfair ……………and biased
I thought i had to help you up a few ledges and things immediatley after that incident
I will return and conquer the Amazon in one foul swoop one day
rockdog wrote:I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience, if it was our shop than I’m disappointed and can only think there has been poor communication on our behalf (they supplied a uh without telling u?), wrongly labelled part or human error. Either way I’m more than happy to sort it out for you with a refund or credit.
We ain’t planning on retiring early on tube fitting it must have been a stuff up.
Phone me tomorrow on 02 65836655 Rory Rock and ill fix up the price difference. We sell the following hd tubes:-
– Kenda tuff tube hd $30
– Bridgestone mh $35
– Bridgestone uh $45
Prices from memory for 18″.
I will double check with my service dept but I thought we where charging $20 to fit.
If you had mentioned you where obt the guys have been told to knock 10% off parts.Ps. Carton of beer to change a tube, unless you are buying them overseas as well that would be costing you about $35-40 per tube?
well done
there was nothing mentined aboput any specifics , and you didnt have to coff up ……………………….if it was ur shop of course???
i dont shop there and maybe never will but
U get 9.8/10 so far ……..nobodys perfect:)I’ve thought about using them ………………………………..
Then go for a ride with people that use them and decide not
I hate changing tyres , but can do
all that grease and crap in a mousse …..faaark me thats bullshit
who wants to do that shit especially on the trail and don’t say it doesn’t happen (failure )
seems to me that if u only ride really slow stuff or tricky stuff maybe okBut if you ride in summer or anything with speed they can’t handle heat and fark up and then stuff ur day
I’m probably wrong but ………..care factor is minimal 😆
And as for tube guys taking the easy line Galey what sorta bullshit is that
you are always in the road and we have to take the shit line to get around you , that goes for most KTMs and any 250 as wellThere have i bought up every controversial topic yet
toes wrote:Looks alright for a bike from piano manufacturer.
