Were you on the same ride as me Ev i can’t work out where some of that footage is

Adam and Sam arrived , don’t know when , the night before anyway

    Day 2
We geared up and yet again waited for the infamous hill climber Galey to gear up ………….waiting ……………waiting……………………..waiting
I don’t know wether that happened or not i just wanted to hang a bit more shit on him :P

We found a sweep vest and off we headed
I was busting my arse out in front riding way above my ability level so as to not hold the group up and if i do say so myself made it over all of the logs for the morning :woohoo: B)

Adam got a bit close and personal to Rockets 2 stroke .they may have secretly been trying for a 3 stroke ………………..

After a couple of lessons from the pro’s on every tyre system available to bike riders we headed off trying to make up a bit of lost time before lunch

BBq lunch was had thanks to my dear wife and children (she was talking to me on that day )

After lunch we headed off for some single trails and it is a good one it shook the shit out of everyones lunch amazing no one had to stop for a chuck

Galey was in a hurry as usual “are we going this way Bob ” “Get em Going Bob ”

In his defence i suppose he had to get as much in that day as possible as he had to go home

I was organising this ride around wearing you out Galey but all i did was wear myself out not knowing you were going home

    piker

Then we came to Ev’s pinch a small but quite steep little hillclimb that looks easier than it is but awesome to watch people try so i found a tree and sat there with my video camera and a bag of snakes for probably an hour and a bit (no idea really) of entertainment ……..had to move down the slope to another tree as the action was moving further down the hill

Then off for more hills and a half baked race between galey and myself on a great loamy hill(loamy apart from the boulder that stopped me dead on race 2….another scratch)
i won the first one and Galey won the second ………….only due to the boulder otherwise i would have kicked your arse again 😆

Then the Team moved on to some pine singles and it was becoming a very weary team by this time (especially myself) my mo jo had come and gone by this time and there was a little carnage , a bear doing some business in the woods and some slippery little tracks

time check it was 7 or after so general consensus was I’m stuffed lets go home

Firstly whats this shit about my bike being the scratched up one

its just used ridden past the church on Sun

I have been on 2 rides with you lately Galey the hill climb king and it won’t be long and your bike will look like mine cause i haven’t seen you get up a hill yet  😆 😆 😆
Legs eleven Galey , legs eleven

Now back to my ride report

Well i said it was on Rain ,Hail or shine and we had all 3 , thankfully it was 99% shine

Thu avo saw Nath and LC arrive in the absolute pissing down rain , and I think there was a few thoughts go through mine and Lc ‘s head that it was Bellingen here we go again

Anyway fri morn saw Ev ,Rocket & Jason turn up and a few ominous clouds hanging around ,
    but to no avail .

Anyway as stated we rode a mix of trails with Ev Stopping at the end of some pine single trails with a huge grin and probably even a woody and stating that “I need to find some pine forest at home thats awsome “
And as usual when your up the front you miss out on most of the carnage and action but anyway apparently there was some .

We thought we better head home as Mal3.00 may have been going to turn up and lucky we did as he was sitting in the shed already half pissed (we were an hour later than i expected but i also wasn’t expecting to see you)
Anyway after some lunch on my new BBq kindly donated at great expense from BBQ’s galore somewhere on the south coast we geared up and Ev noted a few storm clouds off to the east and stated ‘are we gonna get wet “, I stated we won’t get wet from them
well we didn’t we got smashed with hail from the ones we couldn’t see behind the house, shed and trees but anyway .
It wasn’t really my mothers shed we took refuge in , in Neville I don’t really know who lives there it was the first place with no one home thats all.

Off to do some Native single which usually isn’t that slippery , but was after the storm

I’m already getting sick off typing so if we suddenly go to point form you’ll know why

Wasn’t much carnage in here Mal found a steep little downhill pinch , looked at everyone and said “are you serious” it wasn’t that bad but i did let him go first

Ev was having a overheating problem so we waited on the trail for a bit and Rocket decided some new brake pads needed to be put in there and then , wasn’t quite as easy as at home in the shed

After that home we goes Beer was calling

aido’s bike was probably a Friday Arvo bike. Then again The Rowan had a shit load of hassles with his 450 Husaberg. seems good now though.

I honestly dont think the guy i bought it from would have sold it knowing the problems the bike would have,
but fuck it was frustrating while i had it

Buy a new bike spend a shit load of money have less hassles for two years

Buy a second hand bike spend a shitload of money on it and have hassles for 2 years then get it right and then you’ll prob sell it and buy another lemon

    :silly:

being Dusty What bloody planet were u on

you wouldn’t have made it up the 4km anyway galey , the black eye ,lantana an so called dust and your bellingen ability all would have contributed to a failure

    i didn’t see “that specific log “

Bob, I might be a bit dumb but, can we ride the track in reverse when we get to the tar or will it be too far for fuel range. Fire trails would be sweet if you can manage that .

we’ll see who wants to go home the quick way and who wants the long way at the time
