years ago i worked in a merchindise store…we had a heap of cheap chinese steel posts come in,they sold like hot cakes.Sure as eggs over the next few weeks they all came back all twisted and bent. They looked good ,but were as weak as piss. The steel was no bloody good.If we keep selling them decent raw materials maybe they will start to come good one day.
My point is…they dont build things to last, maybe they dont know how to, or maybe they dont give a rats bum.
But maybe…just maybe, one day they might.

    Gday Trendsetters
Boy am I stuffed. What a bloody ball tearer of a day tho!!!!!!!!!!
Up at sparrows Sun morning off to some Goanna track near Coona for a day on the ponies. About 5 kms from the track I could feel that the Lux had decided to expel a large amount of air from the rear passenger tyre. There was no way in hell i was going to stop and have a look because I knew there was still plenty of air in the top of the tyre, it was that buggered anyway, so…as long as I got to the track I would be ok…even if I was down to the rim so be it…(plus my Jack was stuffed and I had race fever biting my arse and everything went out the window).
Got to meet Ecks Man and White Rocket and discovered that they were champion blokes!!!As Boony has said, we had a choice little bit of prime real-estate next to the shitters which came in very handy for the pre race nervous wees. Got a bit on the nose by the end of the day. Started to smell like the Camel Cup in Bagdad.
Warm up lap is my favorite because it is usually the only time I get to overtake people. But, true to form I had a little whoopsa daisy in a gully and ended up bogged to the swing arm. Looking over my shoulder I could see a nice little traffic jam starting to form up behind me. Little bit of help????After about 20 scumbags roosted me in the mud, a good Samaritan helped me out, God bless his cotton socks.
Back to the pitts to see that the Boonmister had arrived dressed like the paparazzi armed with a plenty flash camera. Mrs. Boon was there plus a few little Boonites. Steve and Pep had a cracker of a tent put up and we really did look like we knew what we were doing. We were the Old Bulls Factory racing team!!
    RACE TIME !!!! :woohoo:
Took off like a scalded cat and was about mid field at the first corner, went wide and I was back in my familiar position…sweep. Lunch was not needed as a kilo of dirt was consumed. Pulled up after my first lap to refuel, it’s a bit of a worry when you are putting fuel in your bike and two fire fighters walk over to with a fire extinguisher in their hands ready to unload on you. I think someone must have warned them about me. Went out for another lap and decided I would help out the other riders by taking out tree after tree. Took its toll, as I lost a bark buster, found it on the next lap. Found a nice little open spot and let her rip. Some unit on a KTM hooned past me in 8th gear (I thought Menace was in Vic? )I changed my line by about a foot and he clipped my handlebar and disappeared into the dust. I won’t say what I yelled out, not that he would have heard me anyway, but hey…I felt better, (even tho I needed to change my undies). This locked up my throttle which made me go through my second pair of undies. Heading to a tight corner I was going to hit the ejector seat(custom built in all my bikes) but managed to bring it back at the last moment. Limped back to the pitts and Boony the ‘pitt bitch of the year” fixed all my little problems. Take a bow mate you’re a legend. Back out to the dust to clean up a few more trees for the lads. Towards the end of the day I had to get another lap in as I was determined to finish the bloody race. Bugger all traffic left and I was starting to feel the ol footy injuries coming back to haunt me. Eventually made it to the end but I think even the time keepers had knocked off for the day. That was my 4th Pony express and first checkered flag. KING OF THE WORLD!!!! :woohoo:
Shagged I made it back to our Old Bull area. Bloody flat trye hadn’t corrected itself while I was off riding so the mongrel had to come off and the replacement put on. I swear those Japs who make those cars have never changed a bloody tyre in their life. Ecks was combing his hair in the reflection of his new shiny ute while Boony gave me a hand to load all my crap and change the tyre. Rocket was head foreman. As I drove off, I passed the trophy presentation which was in full swing, I wound down the window and asked them to post my trophy to me and give my winnings to charity. Home beckoned and after eating half an Angus cow at Macca’s Gunnedah I was looking forward to the fart sack.
A great day and it was good to see the Bulls gathered as one.
    We rule !!!!!
