I would like to compare with you but i havent had the opportunity to ride the crf 250.
Coming off my WR 250f (which i did a shit load of) and onto the crf 450 made me relize bikes aint bikes Sol.
The 450 is a different beast all together  True about abit being a bit slower in the singles ….but i guess it comes down to what floats your boat as a rider….i would much prefer the power i have now with the 450..although it did take a while to get use to it and tame the beast :cheer:
Soooooo much better on hill climbs and wheelies…and that i like…mmmm..i like it alot :kiss:Bol :woohoo:
We are just seeing the tip of the ice berg as far as “the dry” goes.
The cattle market is currently in free fall.I’m hearing chilling stories in our indusrtry at the moment (i’m a livestock agent).
Farnorth QLD,westren Qld and the N.T. are in big trouble. They recieved buggerall rain in the wet season.
Mass scale off loading of cattle is putting huge pressure on the people living on the land and anyone involved in the Australian agricultural sector.Feed cut out along time ago and the water is just about gone in many places. The Aussie dollar and the live export debacle has buggered the return at the farm gate in the top end.
Over the last few years Australia has seen year after year of good seasons, cattle numbers have grown along with the seasons.
Now we are heading into winter with a forescast for the next month of NO rain at all.
Stories are floating about how there are not enough trucks in Qld to shift the cattle.
Trucking companies are being approached in NSW to head North to shift cattle. They are being knocked back because it has turned so dry here and they are flat out anyway.Properties in the top end and Qld are going to see some serious on farm stock deaths.Alot of the stock are already too poor to travel.
Currently, the WHOLE of Australia, every state is on borderline drought (if not allready in it) bar some coastal areas.
I sold livestock for clients today, sheep, lambs and cattle. The prices recieved were horrific…but they are going to get worse.Costs are far outweighing returns.
Depression and people walking off the land are going to the topics on the table this year.
I don’t want to be sounding negative…but this is the stark reality at the moment.
The only thing that is going to fix it is rain…and shit loads of it.
Bol :woohoo:Imagine the farts that will be let loose in that cab
Bol :woohoo:9 Months Later…
Keith decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob.
So they loaded up Keith’s minivan and headed north.
After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard.
They pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night.
‘I realize its terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I’m recently widowed,’ she explained. ‘I’m afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house.’
‘Don’t worry,’ Keith said, ‘We’ll be happy to sleep in the barn, and if the weather breaks, we’ll be gone at first light.’
The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night. Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way.
They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing. But about nine months later, Keith got an unexpected letter from an attorney.
It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend.
He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, ‘Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up north about 9 months ago?’ ‘Yes, I do.’ said Bob. ‘Did you, ER, happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?’
‘Well, um, yes!,’ Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out, ‘I have to admit that I did.’
‘And did you happen to give her my name instead of telling her your name?’
Bob’s face turned beet red and he said, ‘Yeah, look, I’m sorry, buddy, I’m afraid I did Why do you ask?’‘She just died and left me everything.’
