Spoke to Bruce the captain of the Hanging Rock Bush Fire Brigade. He was dead set gob smacked with the amount of money we raised for them. With the raffles and auction the total was $689.80.I had the treasurer Jan on the phone this morning to get the bank details and she was so excited as they don’t often get a chance to raise any money often.I think they had a cake stall once and about 5 people turned up
Well done to all who bought tickets in the raffles and double thumbs up to Jeffro,Kram, rebore and Aaron
Cheers to the Peel Inn who donated the stubby coolers to you blokes and put on a top feed :cheer:

Friday
Theres gunna be a few of us leave Tamvegas at about 10,30 in the morning, That gets us there at about 11.20 depending on the pub stops. We will be hopefully putting up some shade for the troops and then at about 1.30 we will head for them there hills and just generally have a play, if the group wants hard , so be it , if the group want sight seeing so be it.this ride will only be a few hours long then back to the van park for beer oclock then the pub for some grub.Saturday.
The trail riders (AKA the cool group) will be leaving on their ride at 08.30am and heading to the Berry patch for lunch, $20.00 and a quick refuel, $2.00 a litre. I will lead to the Berry patch and part of the way back. Snow and Buzz may lead a few Ks on the way home. Back to the van park then its x-mas party central. We will be going to the pub for tea,and then the die hards will be watching Aaron light fires in the fire pit til the weeee hours,
Sunday
Snowy will be leading a ride very simular to the friday ride and we will be back in time for fairwells and to let the travellers load up their trail bikes and head home to get you home at a decent time.the ADV riders..

Well…true to Old Bull generosity,2 of the local bike shops have made some pretty awesome donations to be raffled off on Saturday night.Proceeds will go to the Nundle and Hanging Rock Rural Bush Fire Service. They won’t be auctioned, that way it will give every punter a chance to win the goodies. :cheer:
Steve from Cycltune (OB member “Cycletune”) has donated a KTM racing chair and a couple of sets of grips :cheer:
Matt from Bikes and Bits (OB member Charlie5) has donated a brand new “One Industries- Kombat- Hart and Huntington signiture helmet” :cheer:

An Irishman was walking home late at night and sees a woman in the dark shadows.
‘Twenty pounds’ she whispers.
Paddy had never been with a hooker before, but decides what the hell, it’s only twenty pounds. So they hid in the bushes.
They’re going ‘at it’ for a minute when all of a sudden a light flashes on them. It is a Police Officer.
‘What’s going on here, people?’ asks the cop
‘I’m making love to me wife!,’ Paddy answers sounding annoyed-
‘Oh, I’m sorry,’ says the cop, ‘I didn’t know’
‘Well, neidder did I, til ya shined that bloody light in her face!!’
gday Matt

Bol :woohoo:I would like to share an experience with you all I heard the other day.
It is to do with drinking and driving, as some of us may have had, in the past, some brushes with the Authorities on the way home.
Well, a mate of mine for one, has done something about it.
The other day he was out for a lunch with friends and, having had far too much wine,
he did something he had never done before….. He took a bus home.
He arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise,
as he hasn’t ever driven a bus before……
