We are getting all the pacific highway through the New England highway at the moment…we have trucks and backpackers bumper to bumper..and they all look lostWe will no longer be going to Colly as there is no fuel (thanks Trev).Rout has been changed abit.We will be in Qld for a bit more than originally thought.See first post.Max fuel range maybe about 300 km.Might be advisable to bring a 5 lt fuel can if your nervious…i am

17 drenched riders headed off and 15 made it back…not bad for us :pinch:

I actually got to do a bit of lead riding through the pines..but i managed to miss the track 3 times..so i sacked myself..funny..i didn’t hear any complaints :huh:
House swept and i scored a direct hit on him with a face full of roost..prime cold smelly mud…its perfectly ok to roost the sweep isn’t it ? :whistle:
We soon found our first challenge for the day..our area of singles had been attacked by the logging mob and the track was replaced with a beautiful smooth dozered track..fine in the dry..but in the wet…something else !!!! :ohmy: Hot steamy bogged bikes everywhere !!!

Just got back into the office and this email came through to me
Greg from Pilliga called and said that for your bike ride on the 25th he will have fuel for you. He also said that you can go Pilliga straight to Boggabri, but you might need to get a recently updated map because he’s not sure where to go from the Newell Highway to Boggabri.
If you need anything else, he said you can just call him again.aint that nice?rool nice people out there in the bush
