I bought one with about 18k on it and fitted a Delkevic muffler, sounded sweet but the lack of brakes no bigger tank available

and the suspenion needed work , the seat wasn’t that good eather so I traded it on a DR650 .

I did read somewhere that someone ran one in the Dakar they cut the top

out of one tank and bottom out of another and welded them to gether to get more fuel capacity.

As Chicken said the bash plate needs to be heavier as well

mine was an 2006

Fuel range for the DR with a 12ltr standard tank is less than 200km i think .

Will check dates when they are posted TB to see if i can get the AL. Keen as though

+ 1 Scotty these aholes need a size10 up the back side . This sort of thing is unforgiveable . That is a very special place , maybe as punishment they should be tied to the tree till the tree recovers or rots away whichever come first .
