We will be running a 2 corner man system from Capertee to the camp site. With 60 odd riders it will keep us closer together.

It works like this.

The lead rider/s (we will have 2) will place the first rider behind him on the corner. If there is 2 riders there then both will stop at the corner. If only 1 rider is there then the next rider to come to the corner should stop at the corner as well. SO if you come to a corner and there is only 1 rider there, STOP with him.

I’m betting someone will get a flat on the way to the camp site so you could be sitting on a corner for 15 min or more. It’s nice to have soemone to chat to.

Also with sweep riders. Don’t just ride off when YOU see him. Make sure he has seen you and he waves you off.

How good advice is the last line of mals post,, yes even sweeps may need a hand,, he may have a man down that needs urgent attention, so dont just bloody ride off when you see a pretty vest,, wait until your sent on your way, by the sweep…it makes the day so much more enjoyable..
