pay no attention to these peanuts?????

    what you need is,

    1. 75mil,, inch and a half hardened steel die.

    2. A device you can use to provide several short sharp blows with.(ensure this is made of steel)

3.a length of rope,,preferably synthetic and about 8 mil thick.

    4. some form of heat source,,hotter the better,,not something like Peps hair dryer,or Aarons curling wand.

1.Place the section of the engine that requires pressing apart on the floor in a clear and ventilated area.

    2. heat the section of the engine that requires pressing apart to a tempreture of aprox 150 to 170 degree c.

    3. Place the die on the part to be struck.

    4. Using the striking tool give that sucker several good hard whacks.it is important to continue doing this as it may be the next whack that loosens the part.

    5. Using the 8 mil synthetic rope (and waiting until the engine part cools down) tie it to a section of the engine that required pressing apart , and ensure you use a real good and reliable knot.

    6. The end result should be,,,you have just made a pretty darn flash boat anchor,,,now go and buy a new one …it will save you a shirt load of grief.

    Glad to help.

So I would say there probably will be room:unsure: The trailer I had organized could be gone by this ride can everyone keep an eye out for some back up plans. I t will have to be BIG AND ENCLOSED

We need to have a gahtering (preferably at a pub) and start to get organised, if theres 10 of us going we should take our cars and bike trailers?????????

As all know, I love my DRZ 400,
yes it may be heavyer than the high reving, high maintainence 4 strokes around the same CC, but in all honesty, I do not feel the weight now when I`m in the singles and my bike has more than enough power to handle any thing I can throw at it,
No its not a race bred machine nor is it a enduro weapon, but hey I only want to trail ride on it, not win dakar.!

The maintainence of it is easy, and not a chore after every ride, just throw new tyres and occasionally some sprockets and a chain and Bobs ya uncle.

    Horses for courses I say,
There will be the advocates out there for the lighter and faster bikes, and theres the one that say DRZs are useless, but its what I own and I love it.

Take the plunge corey,,you can nick parts off your old mans when his not looking.
