I agree whole heartedly with you Round eye.

One thing that I did notice in my research today was ,they mentioned seeds bought in by unwashed bikes. What about the seeds horses eat ,then shit out in our bush. Do we really want rye grass, oats and other introduced plants in the bush?? The damage hoofs do ,whether it by cattle or horses is equal if not worse than a trail bike can do. It shits me when I see dirt bikes getting the blame for erosion problems, when there are far worse culprits than us in the bush.

not to mention abandonded f(&kn pig dogs and the rubbish the piggers leave behind.

 I thought they where always targeting these riders, anyway does this mean that the forestries people will be erecting up to date/recent signage directing us on their required do`s and dont`s in the forest as most of the old signs have fallen down, faded beyond readability or are just not there at all.I have only noticed those ridiculous hunting signs when I have ridden in our local forest and nothing related to the operating of a off road motorcycle in the forest, I have found huge gates closing what starts as a major forrest road, (you know one of them roads you dont turn off but they end up being a great bike trail). Those who ride in our area will know the weirs road, starts as a named major road and you do not turn off it but it winds down into a steep valley then along and over a creek then onto a dam. Why can we not use it if we are registered. I have absolutly zero issue with having to be regoed and liscenced and obeying the law when in these area but some signage will help deter the people on the dark side (unregoed/liscenced) from even unloading their bikes, to easy to say ( sorry mate I didnt know). The forestry people have a huge task ahead of them to police this and i really do wish them the best. They just need to be consistant with what they do.

Ok, the DRZ is now out of intensive care and is recovering from its ordeal, The little battery helper charger is charging the motobatts battery like a charm, Thanks to all who sent flowers and best wishes,it really did help us through the rough period. It even got a new plug to help get back on its feet for Coffs. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
