looks like a friday/saturday camp out

who may be turning up friday arvo for this ride??????
makes you wonder what would happen if we just overshot a corner on some of the trails we all ride on, I quite often pull up and have a look around and some of the drops from the side of the fire trails can be quite daunting, another good reason to ride with a buddy and or do head counts following these types of trails,as if someone goes over it can be a while before its noticed, and trying to find them is near impossible.

can i suggest the ramset treatment.
1. place offending boot on foot
2. ensure the fit is correct
3. have a good friend available to assist you.
4.place heal of boot on a chair so the toes are facing upwards.
5. have available good friend fire 8 ramset nails into the sole of the offending boot, being sure to space the nails evenly for maximum holding power.
6. enjoy your days riding with your newly repaired dirtbike boot.
your welcome

Quote:It is a fairly low key open ride that I mainly organised so I could see how the shoulder goes before I get into the harder stuff. The route is mainly open running so you maybe better of with open ish gearing. I will know more after I pre run it anyway.Chops banana is a better bike in ALL conditions with faster rather the slower gearing because of the power characteristics of the DR engine as you will find out after you try the low gearing
yeah i`ll run 14/50 for this trip..thank youTB
180ks in some mainly vertical terrain will take us a fair while.
yes that log did bring you down to earth,,slow mo tubby role. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
bundyroy is out but he has raised a good point for me to ponder?????the gearing for this ride would probably need to be on the tall side ,,wouldnt it.
I just fitted 13/50 to the 400, thinking it may be a touch low for a 180k day.the product review thread is not the place for those shinanigans Mr menace now behave….
