razzle wrote:Thanks Mick for the “Razzle styled it up all day” comment, and Bol for the “smashing himself up with style and a smile”, BUT;After 4 hours at the lovely Kempsey Hospital today, I have a broken (completely snapped) collar bone and three cracked ribs … no wonder that last 20 or 30k’s f*ckin hurt like hell! :pinch: I actually don’t remember much of that last bit of the ride … thank you adrenalin :woohoo: And why do doctor’s always give you “that look” when you say “it was on a dirt bike”?! Bugger off and get a life! 👿
Anyway, my mantra has now turned to that of Snowy09, “there’s no such thing as too much body armour”!
So I’ve got 6 to 8 weeks of no riding (f*ck it!), 6 to 8 weeks to shop for LOTS of armour, new goggles (they got screwed over by some stray vine), new helmet (smashed the peak and scratched the shit out of it in “the incident”). 6 to 8 weeks.
I remember looking back and seeing Bol shaking his head at my moment of idiocy, my immediate thought was “how embarrassing, f*ck I’m an idiot” … then the pain started, I really didn’t care about being an idiot after that, funny … my only thought was “there’s no way I’m getting chopper’d out of here, keep riding, not far to go”. I must have asked Mick at least ten times “much further, is the next bit easy?”. :pinch:
Anyway, LIVE and LEARN, it was a great day, only screwed up for myself, by myself. Never again.
Actually, my only regret is not introducing myself to each and every one of you, even to say g’day …. next time.
Razz.
Although everthing I looked at all day was a bit on the blurry side, from what I seen of your incedent looked like it hurt, and yes i have the moment on film, you can see it in the distance , I will start the you tube marathon some time soon.

Do the oldbulls have to ride their weekend trail bikes or can they bring a full blown motox bike?
I just Recon their a bit harsh,in saying that mine has been tweeked by pro moto , so maybe I’m spoilt
singletrackmind wrote:Aaron wrote:Damus doesn’t frequent this site much so I will help him out. He has picked up a WR450 second hand I think it is a steel frame jobie so you wil have to get a move on if you are at the back of the pack. The super sweep will be keeping us all honest now. Polly on the other hand has bought a trail bike to replace the tractor. That’s all I’m saying.cannot wait to sample the trails snowy on my CRF 302. :woohoo:
Which big bore kit Az and what are your thoughts?
Maybe start a new thread as with the number of CRF’s out there it would good to hear all about it. Transmoto built one last year enclosed it. They called it “the bike Honda should build”STM
I`ve ridden MattVs CRF with the 280 kit in it and it mumbos along quite nicely. excellent low to mid range grunt which is good for the nundle singles. They just need suspension and they would be an alright bike out of the box. :pinch:
