    does it make sense???

    “Upside down Miss Jane” :woohoo:

A Mr Sqiggle quote incase you were wondering.

It does make sense and not a bad idea for a few bikes. Although what do you tie the bikes to ?

ha ha ha im old enough to remember:woohoo: :woohoo:

    how hot was miss jane;)

just get a couple of u-bolts and mount them to the front corners of the trailer, somewhere out of the way.OHHHHHH yeh justlike what Boony has on his trailer and he said to do this yonks ago,,,,,

you could even weld a jerry holder in instead of one of the bike channels, to add a bit of finesse:laugh:

i have seen “drop in” wheel mounts that do 3 bikes…(for the future:laugh:  )

they are a rectangle of inch square tubing made big enough to drop in the front of your trailer, so it wont slide around, with channels welded in place….presto.

i just looked on ebay as there is usually 1 or 2 on there but no cigar.

this way you dont have to drill holes in the trailer.

How about a quick sketch, something better than ya tug rope sketch though:P :P :P :P

Spose if me bike was orange i would have to lay it down and put a tarp over it. :silly:  :silly:

Ohhhh admin please bring back the karma systen cause Jak should get one,,:woohoo:

    Jak,
My budget set up uses a piece of gal purlin at the front to hold the wheel straight works fairly well.
If you had a matching piece where the rear wheel sits it would be better. Then you could run a long channel and bolt the gate up if youve only got a 6×4, try second hand building supplies they are good for odd stuff.
Weld some rods onto the nuts so you can convert back to box for all the other box trailers work.

    Cheers

My DRZ now rides proudly in my 7×4 box trailer, all i did was welded 2 U bolts at the front,,1 each side, and then when I put my home made fork saver in , I just have to mover the rear to one to shut the tail gate, without the fork saver it fits neatly in the trailer,,I havent had any drama yet.
I didnt put any chanel in to hold the wheel as the tie downs should not let it move and a quick rope around the rear wheel to the trailer fixes that end,, the_other_woman_003.jpg

By the way thats her on the trailer for nundle this weekend ,,,,sad hey but I`m keen
