Got a short 60k ride in with the king at nundle yesterday. It rained the whole ride but only lightly. That area has now had 70mil overnight so all the creeks will be impassable. On the up side we needed this rain.

It’s lcs bike so it would not have done too much hard work. A lot of fire trails and the odd overgrown twin trail maybe. :woohoo:

It will be my second time ever at an MX track so I am already excited and will rely on advice from the seasoned veteran Kram.
I might mount my GoPro backwards so I can get some footage of Nickj as well. :P

The fuel injection system on the new R delivers its power very smoothly, and when you need to hoist the front you really just need to think up and up comes the front wheel. i would prefer beefyer rear brakes however the fronts compensate for it and they will lock the wheel in a flash if you take your eye off the ball.
The flight deck was set pretty close to how I would have had it so it felt good towards the end of the morning.
I did not enjoy the tighter singles for a few reasons, the engine didnt seem to want to play nice around the really tight bits and it flamed out on me a few times , I think my biggest concern was the lack of the electric start, I also had to get used to not using any gas when kicking it, hard to do when your buggered and it stalls in a tigh areas and you try and get going in a hurry.
Another reason was it did not have any protection, it was like going into a brothel without a franga, you want to have a go but you also know what could happen.
Straight line pace was awesome. the power just kept coming on and on. Towards the end of the ride I was knackered and my arms did feel a tad longer but that was me trying different stuff,IE 4th gear monos by just blipping the throttle and hang on for the ride.
This thing tracked like it was on rails, I can see them creaming the mx scene in the near future.
You will need a bank loan if you want aftermarcket slipons as you need 2 of them, (what the go there Honda) now lets wait to see if they wake up and make an X model for you lot that need big horse power in the forests.

    Ohh
The camera is a Drift HD 1080. comes with a wrist remote and you can rotate the lense then spin the camera 180 to film backwards. i think its pretty good and it is a low profile to your helmet unlike some other brands I have seen.

yes I did know it had air forks, and they were set on a high pressure when it left the shop. I spoke with matt and I was going to see how it went out on the trails and adjust them in progression to the ride, but the darn thing was that sure footed we didnt move a thing, as for the choke thing the bike flamed out for the 15 ks and i was waiting to see if it cleared, being a new bike to me I was unsure to its problem, as I am not a mechanic and do not pretend to be one.

    anyway heres another short vid.
