    just used the scotts grip glue you can buy from the shop that takes all our money. That tape idea sounds like a winner will have to remember that if I ever change grips again.I used the tie wire to assist with holding them in place.

    to all that helped thank you, your information was much appreciated. ended up scraping and peeling and sanding ,,,job done,crikey what a sh!t of a job. narny is ready for war again, that happens this weekend in the nundle area mapping tracks for the cold ride in july

    thats the problem I thought I could peel it like a narny but the grip is fully glued and it looks like I need to desolve the original glue with something any suggestions

    There is a name for the low life who stole them bikes and trailor but this is a respectful site and I refuse to blemish it.
