Also improves fuel consumption. During winter the engines of your bike will run leaner due to more air being available. so you use the blue tipped JD needle,In summer or on very high altitude there is less air available and the bike will run rich, you then use the alternate red tipped needle. Well worth the Coin, also a exteranal fuel mixture screw makes it easier to set it up just NOICE;)Ollie
Ollie give your self an uppercut (hang on sore finger) ok slap your self because you are making sense and we are not use to that here. Not privy to buying jets so apparently there colour coded(jetting for idiots) is that right??????
Yes mate,The JD kit is color coded for idjits, even comes with instructions on how to do it(we normaly go a bit leaner on the main jet in aussie though, due to our crap fuel:angry:
Ollie

good insurance for the buck.I agree 100% with what Boulder has said.I probably would also consider changing the speedo assembly for something a little less pricier to replace and the front suspension needs to be stiffened up.Also a JD jet kit makes a difference IMHO
ollie
mentioned the fork springs but how much more performance and in what range does the jetting and exhaust modifications give the mightyDRZ
menace is obviously not allowed to play or he would be all over this one

all mod explained have been done to the boon mobile (except new bars) but there now needed
The darn thing is still way to top heavy but as stated the thing just keeps going. we DRZ riders have to appreciate that they are not like them there high reving 4 strokes on the market at the moment (there better)
honestly all mentioned mods have helped but you can add #26 fork springs, replace rear spring, all up decent mods that I have seen on DRZ suspension costs about $900.00.
the best mods are what was first mentioned and get decent rubber and ride the thing within its limits.
staying @ the breakwall park puddles might catch up???????
will be dropping off a certain calender to a certain admin from the site. he may have to walk to the town limits if I`m not allowed through??
I thought you meant a permit to ride at cells:silly:
puddles I WRITE THE PERMITTS IN THIS HOUSE she just has to sign them
yeh thanks Aarochild

put cursor on the dotswas trying to do a brief explanation of the area. the photo(s)
you posted are of us on the quads at a lookout, there are endless miles of singles and fire trails/mian roads along with heaps of gold mine kind of stuff to explore. excellent riding and there is a big clearing to camp at with a clear creek, drop loo, and a table with a shelter. when I get home I will post some trail photos. the area is in the doyle river area, google map it. whingham side of the oxley high way.
sorry about the confusion. -
