Up with the sparrows this morning an it was raining cats and dogs, so off to the shed and load the bike!
I thought I would weight all my gear and see just how much weight the pig would have to carry!
Right pannier = 7kg
left pannier = 7kg
Top bag = 6kg
Food tube = 3kg
water = 2kg
spare fuel =4.5kg
Back pac = 7.3 kg
Bum bag.5kg
Fuel in tank =29.7kg
Me =110kg All muscle too!! :blush:
Total 180 kg
No wonder the frames take a hammering!! :dry:

This is why the Bore track is closed
They are paranoid about fire and losing there feed, they have even banned camp fires on both sides of the road from the Corner to bollards lagoon.
I can feel the Flinders calling again!! :huh:
