Well another great OB ride and as always in good company. It was nice to have some new OB’s along and Adam and Sam did a great job keeping us all in one piece and moving along nicely on some great trails.
The weather was perfect, thanks to all the guys that came and made it such a great day :)
Thanks also to Marcel for allowing us to ride back through his back yard.
Look forward to the next one!! Boulder.

Claire, Ryan and I are very sad at the news of mal’s passing, he was a really really nice bloke and I will always have fond memories of him. He was a big asset to procycles when he worked there and also at sutto’s nothing ever to much trouble a true gentleman.
Only the good die young RIP.

Great post TB, 20,000 and still looks like new and plenty more adv k’s to come. I reckon you should keep this bike and ride the wheeels off it!! would be really interested to see how many k’s you could put on her before it needed a refresh. maybe you should have a word with Yamaha Australia!!B)

Hey baggy britches, we can fix that problem up with a nice pair of orange braces!! ;)
We will have to see if we can find you a bike before the birthday ride, we dont want you getting that Harley all scratched and dirty!!

Adam,I think the bike was dusted before fish bought it, It had the original airfilter and fish replaced that with a unifilter but the damage was done!!
Mine has done 18000 and is still in spec. After talking to Krusty a few year models seem to have valve prob’s and other year models dont!! But a good duel airfilter well oiled and greesed is good insurance IMO.
Nice work TB, this will help when mine needs stipping in the future!!

OK where do I start. This was a really great adventure, everyone that came just dug in and made things happen no matter what came our way!! :cheer: We were lucky enough to ride just about every type of trail imaginable and everyone moved along at a good pace. Yes I know we had a few problems along the way but always managed to get going again and thats what adventure riding is all about!! It does’nt matter if its a deep creek crossing or a broken bike or a closed road we just made it happen and credit to everyone for that.;)
A big thanks to TB and Nick for all the hard work they put into this ride and it was really appreciated by all who came along on the adventure.;)
I would also like to thank Moose and Kram for all there work on sweep duty.
My camera broke on the first day so no pic’s from me
I look forward to reading some more reports and reliving our ride through the words and pictures. :woohoo:

    Boulder.

I think I’m finally getting organised, truth be known I’m as nervous as a pooch passing peach pips.
Got looking at the joblist to get Ol burple ready for 8 days of fun, then went and bought a new DR 650. Picked that up on friday arvo, and managed to rack up a few hundred kays over the weekend. Pretty good, but will tweak over the next couple of days. Any chance of a lend of that airhawk Nick? I think the seat may have been made of concrete by mistake!
Also replaced some of my camping gear that failed so miserably on the Camerons ride.
Anyway, looking forward to just getting on the bike and going.
    See you at Gunning,
    Moose

Hey Moose, I new you would see the light mate!! ;) My seat has 30,000 on it and still feels like your sitting on a bag of hammers  Have packed the Rectinol and all are welcome but no double dipping allowed. Looking forward to seeing the new steed on Thursday.B)

I am taking only a limited amount of cloths as space is tight! Only taking some t’shirts, one pair of pants and shorts, volley’s and undies & socks for eight days. I figure if I am cold i will wear my riding jacket.
I will also bring a spare pair of riding pants.
We should all smell the same anyway so all should be good, until we get into town!
We must all remember to bring our cool bags for night caps!!
