Ride safe TB, you have a precious cargo there mate. If you make it to Nicks have a James squire for me!!
Looking forward to some adv riding this year too.Yet another great year on Old Bulls, How lucky are we to live in this great country that allows us to ride around on some great roads and trails long may it continue!
I look forward to 2011 and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year.
Booked three sites for 5th feb at the campground unpowerd. For the hardcore group!!
TK traversed just about every track in this country and he took us along for the ride through his pen and camera. I was lucky enough to ride with him on some and will always cherish the memories.
These are TK’s own words that in my opinion say it all.
I dont have to close my eyes to see hundreds of faces, dust covered, occasionally bleeding, often tired, but all with that slightly crazed spark that makes us different from the rest.
Legends, mates, riders, all living life to the full. Magic.RIP mate.
Hey chicken, I have a photo that i have filed for future when I may need it. Always good to have a little fat on the bread mate!!!
If they bring rec rego in, give it a couple of years and the cost will be the same. Just another way for the Gov to tax! Just as well pay rego.
I agree with Scotty rec rego long term wont help the likes of us or the Aus motorbike industry.Sounds like an adventure Lotsa. I new it would’nt be bike failure because you were on the Suzuki!!
Mars bars and snakes a good thing to have in the pack for such occasions.
Should have a 650 in my shed in the next two weeks so will keep you company next time mate. :blink:Great to hear that Lotsa is ok. Cant wait to read his story here on OB’s.
He is a very competent and experienced rider so it will be interesting to see what happened out there on a very wet day in the bush.Coffs + STM + Nickj = Single trail heaven and some of the best riding to be had anywhere!! :woohoo:
This ride flowed all weekend and the cornerman never failed top work by everyone involved. It was good to see such a big turn out and meet so many Old Bulls, great company as always and some money raised for charity to top it off.
Its been said before but, it really just does’nt get any better than this!! How lucky are we to have OB’s to bring us all together to enjoy riding and friendship like this.
Thanks again STM and Nickj for such a big effort, all your preperation paid off and you have set the bar high.
Hey Jeffro, raise the gaurds and add some pivot pegs and this could be your next ADV bike mate!! :woohoo:
This is a great idea. maybe while we are having a beer around the BBQ or at the pub we could hold fine sessions, this is good fun and a great way to raise a few bucks for charity. Every little bit helps!!
Good onya Nick, I have a brand new scorpion for Coff’s going on in morning.
Top job guys!! now all I need is to buy some shims
I agree that you have to consider your neighbours doesnt matter where you live. If I owned a property of 400 acres or more I would think that I could build a track somewhere on the land that the noise would be acceptable for the neighbours . We all have to live with neighbours even in the country but I would like to think that a chat over the fence or over a beer could sort most problems out!! The issues seem to come from city people that move to the country in my experience.
Some people have just to much time on there hands and should get a life! WANKERS
