They don’t make them like this anymore.
I think that dolphin will need to go to Sea world for some therapy after that encounter!!
MARTY 450 wrote:Teza, get a length of hose same size as you have.Run it from the valve cover straight up and under the tank and up high along the frame then turn it back down towards the airbox and into it.Just a big long uphill loop really.
If you drop it,the oil has to run uphill which will only be a little bit, then when you stand the bike back up it will run back into the engine.I had a similar problem with my KTM,on a extreme steep downhill some oil would run from the breather hose,as it ran from the valve cover straight down ,i did the above and fixed it instantly. I never have any oil in airbox.
Cheers Marty
+1 on what Marty said and if your running a foam filter make sure its not just excess oil from the filter while its sitting in the shed between rides.
Good to hear your back on the horse mate! Hope to catch up for a chat and a beer soon.
Have a safe one guy’s, I will be thinking of you when I’am cooking steaks for 35!!

There’d be some big rocks getting thrown about. :ohmy:You would think but not what we saw. Cant do anything much with it as the suspension is absolute crap and the shock fades in the car park as you load the bike by the descriptions we heard
Its not half the bike the 990 was from what I can make out.TB
+1 on that TB I think they have a lot of work to do on the next model if they are to take over from the 990 as dirt bike, they seem to be going the soft Latte’ europe option and not really good for our great Ausie conditions only time will tell.
Sounds like you guys had a good ride in the end! I was thinking of you guys as it was hot as hell at home with the wind and all. :ohmy:Sorry to hear that mate, I would think that whatever was in there was from when the motor was apart or something has come adrift. Hope there is not to much damage and you get to the bottom of it!
As always looks like you found some nice tracks there TB! Did I see PTW on a white Tenere??
Holy shit!! Hope all goes well mate and your back home soon.
Mate your supposed to be doing maintenance on the bloody house not the computer!!
I love my Montana and must say its a good unit, But I bought one for 750.00 dollars and am on my third unit and the warranty only just ran out. they seem to have a problem with the screens. I am more than happy with the unit but don’t think that 3 units in the first 12 months is good and hope that this one lasts! Hope they have sorted this pro’b out and if thats the case you will love it ounce you learn how to drive it!Ron wrote:Thanks BoulderNo worries mate, just catch up at Lithgow and we will make it happen!
Ron wrote:Please put me in for this one thanks TB.
See how I go this time, done a few mods on the Tiger to try and prevent some damage, I figured that was easier than learning to ride!
I need to find a buddy if anyone can help.Hey Ron I am bringing some new guys to this format you are more than welcome to tag along with us if you want Cheers Boulder.
+1 for Basecamp
