Welcome Steiner, hope to catch you on the trails soon.
Great pics Murph, top holiday mate you wont want to come home!!
This guy is a bloody legend!!
Hey Dejay, if you leave it there long enough it might grow into a 990 mate!! :woohoo:
Thats what adventure riding is all about!! That photo is gold and Dejay you are going to love that pic in time mate.
Spoke with John today and the tracks will be ok for the big adv bikes. Meals on Saturday night should not be a problem as the Apsley hotel is aware of how many are coming. Accommodation is the problem with all hotels and bed and breakfast booked out. There is still camp sites and accommodation at the camp ground. This will be a good ride and very social on Saturday night so all are welcome.
TK was always well known for giving everyone a fair go so this will be no different. Boulder.I am sure if any OB’s want to come we can find some floor space for sleeping bags or swags!!
Fish and I are used to sharing but no funny business!! :whistle:Nickj wrote:boulder wrote:Sounds like its ready for a ride mate!! What about the TK ride??I should have said I was working on the Crf mate

Which route did you take from the wattigans to Stroud and then Glouster ?Thanks for the report mate.
PTW
I tried to link up some dirt roads but had trouble with gates and private access but the roads up through Stroud and Glouster were a pleasure to ride and some special scenery along the way.

Have had a few beers and a meal there myself and the locals were good company!!
Stay safe and enjoy.gavb wrote:Hey Boulder, Do they have any protection (as in armor) in them?Hey gavb, I wear body armor under the Jacket, the good thing about the body armor under the jacket is that you can take your jacket off and ride in the armor if it gets too hot. Like in the Simpson on the 990 for instance.
Lefty wrote:boulder wrote:Hey Lefty, I can highly recommend the klim pants they are waterproof and comfy!!I did 8,500 k’s in them on the break in and they didnt miss a beat.
Hey Boulder, thanks mate. That is a pretty good recommendation. Do you have the Traverse Pants?
Cheers,
LeftyLefty I have the Traverse and they are a great adventure pant, the 4 vents work really well in the hot stuff. I use Thor overpants for trail riding and find they are less expensive, lighter and really good too. Its horses for coursers I suppose.
