    Hi Mick,

Given the weight of you Son you need to upgrade the fork and shock springs to suit. The stock springs are far too soft.
Fork Springs are $199 and Shock Spring is $199. Both are in stock. Let me know what you would like to do.

There are a few options for your suspension depneding on how you would like to go about it. The fact that you are in Brisbane is no big deal, we have a great relationship with Toll and they will happily freight your suspension to us.

Based on your rider weight please have a look at our susgestion below.

    Fork Spring – .48kg/mm ($199)
Compression Upgrade kit – $430 (installed)

    Shock Spring 5.4kg/mm ($199)
    Shock Revalve – $239

All our works come with a 3 month Warranty, should be not happy with the settings then we will redo the work.

When you are ready please give us a call and we will arrange the pick up of the suspension through Toll and have it back to you in a week.

Any other questions please let mek now .

    Hi Mick,

The first thing that I really do need to know is what does your son weigh out of his gear? There are a number of different options to improve the front end on your newly built KX100. First you will need to install the correct spring rates for the weight of your son, you can then look to install an anti-bottoming kit which will improve the bottoming resistance in the fork and lastly we can install upgraded compression and rebound piston and settings to suit your sons rdiing ability.

Once i have an idea on your sons weight I can then work out what exactly you will need.

    Hi Mark,

Ideally you need to service your suspension every 50 hours of riding. We do keep records of the works but we need to know the name of the onwer of the bike. As far as Fork Oil is concerned, we use Maxima 5wt and find this to be a very good oil.

    Hi Jason,

We can certainly help you with your XR400. The standard fork springs and shock spring are too light for you rider weight and will need to be upgraded to suit. We have a compression upgrade for the front forks which will make them handle and respond so much better than what you are currently experiencing. We would also revalve the shock to match and provide you with a ride that is more like what you have experienced in the past with other bikes. The rough cost for the complete job is $1100.00. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me in the office on 02 4732 2626
