Hi Snowy,
We’ve got a mycube on an 8 x 5. Fits all 5 bikes (LEM on drawbar) missus n 2 youngest camp in rooftop, me & Blake in trailer. Fits our needs perfectly with all the gear in the Lux. If you look at a rooftop check out mycubes, honeycomb alloy floor, quality kit.
Cheers Brad. Thanks Jeffro, but jetting is the same as always.
This thing has been bullet proof & flys.
Thinking maybe electrical???
Cheers Brad.Yeah, 1k is the damage. I do run premium as I said. Question was does a hc piston require a race fuel or is premium ok? Want to put a forged piston in anyways.
BradAfter a weekend on the inlaws dirt bike paradise I can honestly say, Tecknics, if th KTM is faster I don’t want my almost 9 yo on it! This thing cracks! Crisp as a chip, wheel stands with 100kg! Blake loves it, I’ll lap up the next year or so & then eat his dust!
Thanks guys,
It has avs levers, v force reed block, pro circuit slip on, air filer, tapper bars n grips, spare piston, pads, spare new original plastics, two rear sprockets, new crank n clutch. Its been raced for a season but looked after & presents as new.I’ll give feedback when he rides.
BradThanks guys,
Does anyone know what can be used instead? It’s a Tomar auto clutch set up in a lem50 (Morini s6c).
Cheers BradThanks guys, on further thought I run the HPR gas10 in th wifes gas injected Kluger so i’ll run with it. 10w 50 should be a better option. If all’s good might change my yzf450 over as well, will this oil be up to these revs, stresses?
Cheers BradThanks Trailboss,
Although Brian could’nt find what I was after (he didn’t quit I bought one from America) His customer service was first class.
Cheers Brad.Maaaate!
They have there own brain & no brakes ! You have to feed em even when you don’t want to ride em, can be fun though. That is unless you have a phsycotic racehourse wannabe like we had growing up! Good luck, but don’t sell the bike.
Cheers Brad
Thanks Rockdog,
$2290 is a lot sharper than I was quoted today! I think after looking again today the 110 will fit a little better and for a little longer. Am working on a four year upgrade plan for my two boys (4-8 & 7-11) then up to a “big bike
Thanks again Brad.
Thanks guys,
Now I’m overthinking it, I was originally thinking CRF80 love the “big bike” manual clutch but it may be just too tall and I was told of composite suspension linkages that fail? Do you have any info Rockdog? Our main riding area more than ability is stering me toward a 4st fun bike over a screamin racer until he’s a little older. I really think of those two there is not a poor choice.
Cheers Brad
Yeah Mick,
The TTR50 is great & I love my YZF, havn’t yet bought a 110 but it looks like it ticks the boxes. I’m big on reserching prior to spending and have had a “retirement” from riding with a few prem kids between rides, hence the threads.
Thanks Brad.Hi all,
We’ve decided to incorperate the bike as Chrissy pressy (long way out I know), and are all but sold on a TTR110 as we have had a great run out of the TTR50 they currently terrorise (they mainly ride on our 5 acres on the edge of town and once a month to pops 1000 acre bush block) so noise is a factor. Nickj and anyone else with feedback what if any issues do you have with the TTR110?
Thanks all,
Brad.
Hi Burkey,
No advice on the 80 but I will be in the market for a KTM65 in good nick for the same reasons (growth, up from ttr50). Let me know when / if you have it on the market. (after 06-10).
Cheers Brad.
Thanks guys,
Both boys ride on the tank (feet on shrouds) of my yz450 wanting to ‘go faster dad’ and ‘do a wheely’ so your comment of consequence of speed rings true. I will look at the kx 65 they look the good.
Cheers Brad.
