The Doobie Brothers (Listen to the music, China Grove) were pretty awesome back in the mid to late 70’s.
Always loved the Eagles (Hotel California) as well. And then there were the Beatles……

No dramas. Recently changed the water pump seal as it was dripping when cold and the rad overflow bottle cap split due to rubbing on full lock. Small adjustment fixed that. The 2013 bikes have relocated the over flow bottle to the back, similar to the WR set up. Bolt-ons are all aftermarket stock stuff. I picked up a brochure from the dealer a couple of weeks ago, showing all the accessories that can be fitted. Good range. Everything you want. I’ve come off it a few times (nothing major) and nothing has bent or broken.
I actually feel really comfortable on the bike which is a good thing as wifey says it better last for a long time!

Hi wazzup. I bought a 2011 Sherco 300i in Oct last year. Great bike. Went from a WR450 to the Sherco. Its got plenty of power (mapping switch, like you said) and the lower weight (over 25 kgs lighter than the new WR) and lower seat height is great, especially for vertically challenged people like myself!! No mods done other than bolt-ons (hand guards, rad guards etc). I find that I tend to use the clutch alot more (lighter pull than my sons Kato450) on this bike and as a result, less stalling. Probably ’cause you needed two hands to pull in the clutch on the WR (hyd v cable). Not interested in racing so I dont think I will wear the bike out in a hurry.
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers

Hi Marty. I’d be keen to join you (follower, not a leader!), but depends on the weekend you choose. Feb is not looking good, but tentatively March looks OK so far…..

They are easy to get hold of. There are regular visits from a vendor in a van who travels up to Sydney from Canberra (where they are legal) and sells to anyone who wants them. He takes orders apparently. And no, I don’t buy them!
Canberra – our nations capital, parliament, legal fireworks, legal porn. Go figure.

Thanks Crash. Good to meet you too. A good mornings ride. Had to help Pete pick up his new WR, resting nicely upside-down on a rocky uphill just after we left you. He was too buggered to pick it up himself! Yep, it did boil alot. My old WR used to boil frequently as well. The Sherco (not a Berg!) is so much easier to handle than the WR and not as energy sapping. All the guys enjoyed the morning, even Pete.
    Safe riding!

    THE PERFECT HUSBAND

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cellular phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

    MAN: “Hello”

WOMAN: “Hi Honey, it’s me. Are you at the club?”

    MAN: “Yes.”

WOMAN: “I’m at the shops now and found this beautiful leather coat. It’s only $2,000; is it OK if I buy it?”

MAN: “Sure, go ahead if you like it that much.”

WOMAN: “I also stopped by the Lexus dealership and saw the new models. I saw one I really liked.”

    MAN: “How much?”

    WOMAN: “$90,000.” ;

MAN: “OK, but for that price I want it with all the options.”

WOMAN: “Great! Oh, and one more thing… I was just talking to Janie and found out that the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They’re asking $980,000 for it.”

MAN: “Well, then go ahead and make an offer of $900,000. They’ll probably take it. If not, we can go the extra eighty-thousand if it’s what you really want.”

WOMAN: “OK. I’ll see you later! I love you so much!”

MAN: “Bye! I love you, too.”

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths wide open.

He turns and asks, “Anyone know who’s phone this is?”
