Hi Murph. I’m good for Sat if you have room. Looks like quite a few riders! Cheers budge
Ran over one in my car yesterday on Oberon road. It was not happy when I checked in my mirror to make sure it wasn’t caught up underneath the car. You know, one of those thin, dark coloured 1 metre long ones! (They all look the same :S ).
Budge 1 snake 0Good report, photos and vid! I think I have struggled and fallen off in all those same places     Looks like a good day!
Cheers budgeWould love to be there Adam but heading for the Blue Mountains with the wife. Have a good ride!
Cheers budgeI reckon if i saw one I would crap my pants and probably fall off in front of it!
Cant say I’ve ever seen one while out riding, but then again, us kiwis are shit scared of them things so I dont look for them
Happy birthday Murph! May there be plenty of riding left for all of us over 50!
Hope it was a good one
Cheers budgeWe passed a cop in a 4wd going the other way a while ago while out in an area that wasn’t 100% legal. He stopped and stared at us as we rode past but no gesture. We actually stopped, turned around and went back to talk to him. He told us that we weren’t supposed to be where we were, but pointed to another track which we could ride on quite happily. I dont think I’ve been back on that track since then. Licence, rego and the right attitude goes along way.
Went for a local Menai ride this morning. Same crew as last time. Awesome weather for riding after a fair bit of rain. Slippery, muddy and wet :silly: back to my normal “half flat tyre” self  laugh:   good ride, very enjoyable. Lots of single track. Cheers budge
For sure Teza. Your place or mine? Cheers
Two flat tyres at the same time. Well, thats what it felt like  5 of us out for a local ride on Sat. My riding was shit. Just had no balance and every obstacle seemed to jump out in front of me. After 1.5 hrs, I knocked back a red bull. Felt great for a while then fatigue like you wouldn’t believe. The ride was only 3.5 hrs and no-where that I hadn’t been before. I was so disgusted with my riding that i put the mighty Sherco in the shed – unwashed.
Cant really think why I was so bad – good sleep, bugger all alcohol, good hearty breakfast
Maybe next week    :laugh:Great photos murph! You are certainly living the dream, as Eagle said. jealous!
Continue enjoying the great outdoors! Cheers budgeWent for a quick local blat on Sat morning. Had to do a stitch repair on my front mud guard on Fri
