+1
Nothing like a few strong opinions some poorly constructed sentences and perhaps a rum too many  to blow a thread 6 feet left off centre. :huh:About 4 weeks ago now we picked up this little gem for less than $1400 unreg.
’00 model TTR250 with about 4900km on the dial, and what looked like original chain and sprockets , there was at some stage probably a rodent living in the air box had a very nasty looking front guard all faded cracked from another Yam. On the plus side I spoke to the Yam dealer in town, they’d serviced it a few months before and said there was nothing horrific about it, has a B&B bash plate and an anodized rear rim with relatively fresh rubber. New chain and sprocket set for about $180 New front guard at the Kempsey swap meet for $5 :woohoo:
Which put the total price for the bike as is to about $1500.So a couple more hours practice maybe carve the seat foam a little and then do all the rego crap and she’ll be showing me up in no time
Thanks again to all who chipped in $0.02
